today i decided to call the CS to ask about my video walla usage..
my account cycle is on 24th.. so when i called CS, the answer i got was funny..
my remaining video walla quota is 102GB..
my plan is RM100 comes with 100GB video walla.
Then i asked her why like that, she said streaming video will only deduct quota from video walla IF stream from apps....other wise it only deduct your main internet data...

this is the first time i heard something like that, which i think is not accurate..
because i stream youtube and netflix from PC.. it wont deduct my main data.

and i did ask her about netflix..
she did say that netflix is included in the video walla...

hi, can the router provided connect to pc using lan cable?

I've been testing for 2 weeks now and experience no connection twice. Didn't do anything ie no special settings on modem BUT have had to reset the modem to factory settings twice to restore connection (CS on FB had no idea what was happening - told me to call 1-300 # for help)

Anyone else experience the same?

Watching HD vids on youtube - goes against VW quota. Said when VW quota habis, will deduct from normal data

I'm sure can. There are 2 lan ports on the 618s. On your pc enable 10/100 ethernet.

Hi, how do you guys keep track of data usage? I tried installing celcom life, but to connect to my account, it need sms verification. but i don't receive any smses.

When I took the modem from Blue Cube, the girl stuck the sim card into the modem and helped me open an account with celcom. Thereafter I just visit on my PC this online customer service page to check the non-video walla balance. For video walla, go to celcom FB & message them ( ask to "talk to live agent" and ask the fella)

Now the celcom website can check video walla quota already..
I just found out yesterday.. There is a internet usage tab can check video and music valla usage..

But does that mean the music & video walla each have their own xGb allocation? Hell, how to listen to so much music ler? Can unused musix allocation be used for vids? Yours also valid till 24/1/2019 biggrin.gif

i think the date is glitched..
i also dunno they seperate video and music quota..
just stream as hard as u can tongue.gif

another susah part here, i went to blue cube center just to ask about this then they said: in order to receive sms, u need to register another celcom number and use that to register into the ocs, then u can add in more numbers inside and manage all account under 1 celcom number because this celcom wireless is broadband so cant do sms (hope u know what i mean).

wow. that answer sure helps a lot. just call celcom to verify some of my questions before, celcom said, pls stick with the T&C on the website because those people that call me before is not from celcom. they are dealers. well i am sure dealers just want to make a sale, so some of them might gives misleading facts.

I am using this plan under 30 days trial..
So far the speed is quite decent and speed test results are variable..

Basically, I am getting DL speed > 30Mbps, Max 90Mbps
Upload speed 10-30 Mbps.

I am in dilemma as I scroll through this post and seen all kind of negative comments for this plan.

Not sure wanna cancel my Shitmyx 8 mbps and shift to this Celcom plan or not.

Today I was called by their (Celcom) agent about the Celcom Broadband Plan. I am using Streamyx 8Mbps for n years and wanted to shift to Celcom. But I am worry that it's another P1 + YES. First 30 days sure fast then after 30 days throttle speed until like turtle.

Anyone used more then 2 months please share more about your experience.

This plan for the first 30 days is good. Can achieved the speed as you mentioned above. After 30 days, the speed will throttled down by half and when come to peak hours (between 2000-2359 hours), the speed can further down to 3 ~ 10 mbps. Seriously, you need to consider properly as the contract is bind for 2 years.
