Hi, thanks for your interest. No, it is not RO, it uses ultrafiltration membrane. Replacement for all 3 is 380RM for LYN members. Also, LYN promo for 1050RM for the filter set or 1300 for filter + extra cartrdige set, beats CNY promo.

As for cleaning the faucet, it is not really required, but what you could do if you want to, connect the faucet directly to the inlet valve and let it run for few minutes. The goal is to get chlorine running through it.

If I want a direct drinkable filter, which one is recommended? Please provide with your suggestion and price plus installation.
