I scan the runner's QR code, contacted that person, asked him to go to Nando's and buy a cheesecake for me, then send to a friend of mine. When he's verified my order, he wechat me telling me how much in total I need to pay, and I chose to pay him using wechat angpao. after receiving angpao, he carried out my order.

RM 10. which i think is acceptable. because that includes going to Nando's, queue up, make order, then send to another place. saves my time!

and once in a while some surprise
(which is not good in this era, plus its competitors are already so aggressively promoting already)

or perhaps it is our government who is trying to protect local e-wallets by surpressing wechat wallet? (although i dont think so LOL)

i think WeChat Pay MY has their own Malaysian team instead of having Chinese team right

i wonder if they can partner up with petronas or shell then their visibility will be better hhahahaha

heard from my friend who is a banker in Hong Leong that currently WeChat Pay MY only available in Melaka branch. Any Melaka fren to update on this?

sharing my experience:

in my wechat pay wallet I have RM 20.
One day I wanted to reload RM 30 to my prepaid card.
The system automatically detected that I had insufficient credit in my wechat pay wallet, so just directed me to my e-banking page.
After reloaded, my RM 20 remained in my wechat pay wallet, untouched.
