Casual Junior Member 388 posts Joined: May 2016	my doubt: does it mean each user can enjoy a total of 5 times off REGARDLESS of which merchant, or can enjoy a total of 5 times off for EACH merchant? I suppose is the former, right?

Casual Junior Member 388 posts Joined: May 2016	yesterday i went to KK Mart (Kuching) and asked the staff if the buy-RM10-got-RM5-off promo is on, the staff told me that her boss only told her wechat pay is now available but did not tell her such promo. I pointed out to her on the small screen in front of her counter that there is such promo going on, but she replied me that usually the promo is only in Peninsular. So eventually I didnt buy anything.

Casual Junior Member 388 posts Joined: May 2016	by the way I believe the problem comes from WeChat Pay Malaysian Team. Maybe still not competent enough. Like yesterday I feedback to them regarding the failed transactions I encountered in shopping malls, until now no response. Their FB page also changed to a new one I think. The new one is "WeChat Pay MY - ipay88" - correct me if I am wrong.

I accidentally found out that there are small small merchants who actually started to accept WeChat Pay MY but just not announced officially by WeChat Pay MY. Also, I prefer to see e wallet services flooding the market, that's how you up the cashless game here, get merchants accept your service as much as possible along with promotions. That's what Wechat is failing to do, not enough budget probably. apart from fueling, can also buy things in the petron shop
