Anyone using these e wallets maybe should open a thread here to push more awareness for these e wallets.

That's not a fair comparison, the former is officially launched while the latter isn't.

Also, Razer Pay has tons of issues for the time being.

It's not that they need more merchants, it's that they NEED merchants, so far there's literally no merchants that accept it. You might see some stores actually have the Wechat Pay sticker, but it's in Chinese, doubt it's gonna work with our local wallet.

Wechat already gave up on their head start, they could've started everything when there was hype, and now the hype is gone, they still keep leaving us hanging on waiting since like forever.

What I hope now is Boost can expand to more mainstream merchants which they are doing right now, better if they can collaborate with most supermarkets, fast food chains (now available on Wendy's and Burger King) and convenience stores (available on KK mart), once they can do that then it's a straight goodbye to Wechat Pay, they can keep slacking off and do nothing if that's what they wanna do.

As for Grabpay, they're also expanding aggressively, but doubt it can defeat Boost cuz not everyone uses Grab. I do use Grab occasionally, but don't think I'm gonna try it.

So far, the best e wallets are Boost and Favepay.

You mean the ones people use in China? I don't think there are much sources to get from here, other than the sellers/agents, unless you know someone from China who can transfer it to you.

So far there's none because it's not officially launched yet, so don't bother to top up money into it until they launch it officially.

What you need are bank account issued in China, mainland chinese identification and phone number from China. Otherwise there's no way to open one because they changed their regulations, if you have it it's probably because you got it enabled before they changed their regulation which is few years ago.

That's not true, Boost may not be accepted widely in Penang yet, but KK mart is a different story, every KK mart accepts Boost nationwide.

Try re-login again, you might have tried it previously and it didn't work, but maybe you can give it a shot this time again and see if it works cuz it's been a while now.

Or try doing as what Heavenn said, it should theoretically work. Because I've done similarly, but it's to enable the money packet feature on my friend's side, I tried sending a money packet to him and it helped him get the money packet feature enabled on his side.
