QUOTE(Someonesim @ Aug 17 2018, 10:58 PM) As I no longer play much games, gonna just wait 2070 pricing, or 1080 to drop below 2k Hope that the 2070 can repeat the 1070 magic (faster than 980 Ti and cheaper) so faster than 1080 Ti and cheaper.

QUOTE(terradrive @ Aug 18 2018, 11:12 AM) nvidia sold 1080ti at $699 launch price when the die size is 471mm2 full turing has 754mm2, much more expensive to produce. so higher manufacturing costs + milking can’t wait to see how much it is LOL ure looking at the price point after the titan pascal was launched now if they launch everything at the same time.. ti aint gonna be so cheap.. if its gonna be close to a titan card.

QUOTE(sai86 @ Aug 18 2018, 08:18 PM) great!!. btw, "GTX" model name is gone dy? They name it "RT"X because of the "R"eal "T"ime "R"ay "T"racing tech. Not sure if they will get rid of the GTX naming. I think it will stay.

I find it odd that the Ti will be released alongside the other models... it is so unlike Nvidia, since they prefer to release Ti months later. Wonder what's that about... Perhaps 2019 = refresh/rebrand of Turing is a possibility since they will already "have it all out of the door" come 20th August. Also the big question is how will Ray Tracing benefit games in the nearest future - - I can see Metro Exodus having Ray Tracing as a patch etc., not sure about other games. Hope Jen-Hsun announces some upcoming titles that will support Ray Tracing. Lastly, there are leaks that point to the GTX 2060 = performing to GTX 1080 levels. If that's the case, we might be in for a nice performance leap. Final specs:

While it might not able to handle max graphical setting for AAA games on my 3440x1440 monitor, it should allow high setting for coming years games.
