Not at here kut. I just sold my Galax GTX 1060 6gb for SGD 350 (loss of $9 after 5 mth usage).
the pricing over here is still around $450 avg depending on brand/model.

not bad. my advise - dont buy vanilla version. wait for the TI series and you can skip another 3 or 4 gen

if gonna #GGwallet, go for 2080Ti. the best and can last you the longest.

is 2080 / 2080ti upgrade is significant enough over 1080ti?
i'm using 1080ti and i'm satisfied at the moment on 1440p 60fps gaming.

Going to get this monitor soon among others such as Acer Predator X34P and ROG SWIFT PG348Q 34 as this alienware is much newer model?

go for 1080ti - it will last you for 2-3 gen easily. sure got 2nd hand unit at nice condition and pricing in the market.

2.5k is a damn nice price for the Strix. even i bought the Ref edition last time cost me SGD 1.1k. (new)
1080Ti is powerful enough for today games except above 1440p for max settings

RM4k i also think from top to bottom, but GPU for RM6k is really another level
when i saw Lazada SG open for PO - i was like.....its SGD 800 more than my new monitor

the only way to justify the price is by having more than 50% performance different compare to previous gen in apple vs apple (non-ray tracing) benchmark.

1080ti Rocks. 30% per for almost 70% cost different = @@||.
but 2080Ti can do 200hz 1080p in competitive gaming with no sweat.

after the review out, don't think 2nd hand market alot XD.

not stuck with 1080ti, but it still punch alot even on my 3440x1440p monitor.
while we are reaching era where all benchie/demo on 4k resolution, it didn't surprise me when nvidia is demoing their new tech in 1080p. (you know something is not right).

just go on par with gpu and your monitor?
just play the waiting game. since now on "old games", the 2080 perform similiar to 1080ti at higher price.
and the selling point of 2080 is RTX & DLSS, which now nowhere near to be tested for the consumer to know how exactly powerful is this new GC is.

bro, why not upload the 4k/1440p vid into youtube. its wasted to just present it in 1080p.
