failing to win the UCL = meaning that failure to win both the Scudetto & Coppa can be considered an underachieving season due to current Juve standard

hopefully they'll rest the main team against Crotone but can't underestimate em either way. SPAL already taught us this after that drab 0-0 draw

and then in the weekend, go all out against Napoli and kill their title hopes altogether

Savage!! Hahaha. I'm sure they will put up a fight though. It's so delicate this time around.

if Juve still in UCL semi final...i would've had a different thought. Considering Juve had a double duty. Now Juve are laser focus
in sealing the numero 7 Scudetto, the only team who can stop em are themselves

yeap, having said that Juve also need to win against Crotone too. Never gonna underestimated em, cosidering SPAL did stole 2 points off Juve
while Benevento did gave us some scare in the 4-2 win week ago

That's true, we only have the league and Coppa to focus on now. I read that we have Bernadeschi back. Should give him a good run till the end of the season.

I hope what Buffon said about them being furious will carry on till the end of the season and provide the hunger to secure the scudetto.

By the way, any leaks on what next season's kit will be like? And what's the latest on our transfer strategy?

Not sure what to say about the new kit for 2018/2019. I guess from a personal preference point of view, not really my cup of tea. I saw this http://www.juventuz.com/threads/41418-Juve...2017-18/page230 on the juventuz forum. I like the gold adidas stripes on the shoulder but they could do away with the pinstripes on the shirt.

About the ICC, was hoping Juve would come to SEA more; they know they have a good fanbase in Malaysia and Indonesia. Heck they even played in Singapore a couple of years back; I'm sure we have more Juve fans than in Singapore hahaha.

We do need to beef up our aging defence and I don't know much about Digne but his experience with Roma will surely be an plus point.

By the way, I guess we dropped two points earlier? It's gonna be a tight race, we have Napoli then Inter coming up..potential for more dropped points there.

Man, they like to live on the edge don't they. Giving us fans a suspense filled end to the season.

That being said, they need to secure this fast coz Napoli and Inter back to back...

Sturaro, sturaro, sturaro. I'm totally lost of words. All of you know what I think of him

Dybala, just sell him for as much as we can

Marchisio, he's way past his peak. This game speaks it all. Against a lowly Crotone and all he did were either back/sideways pass or simple short forward pass. I love him and all but I think it's the best for the club and himself to part ways when the season ends

Rugani, he just loves to star gazing and bird watching. Hopes he can have a better growth, it seems like Caldara is better than him in that pecking order

Well, this is a bummer.

Gap now reduced to one point!

Our next matches:

Inter (Away)
Bologna (Home)
Milan (Coppa Italia Final)
Roma (Away)
Verona (Home)

While Napoli's are:

Fiorentina (Away)
Torino (Home)
Sampdoria (Away)
Crotone (Home)

On paper at least, they have the easier run in.

I dunno guys, it seems like last minute goals have been the bane for us toward the end of the season. First Madrid, then Crotone and now Napoli at the 90th minute!

I'm just afraid that we will lose the title at the last minute on the last match of the season.

These are 4 MUST WIN games for us, regardless of what Napoli do - simple as that.

Our title defence is hanging by a thread, like literally. Number 7 in a row is a tough one.

just got to watch the match...what a bore, uninterested horror show from the players

Juve registered a ZERO shot on target at home since they played in J-Stadium since 2011/12...zzzzz...

seems like the Juve who did a comeback in Madrid were long gone after that night..

expectation of Scudetto since last week = 99%

after last night = 20%

another note*

from a high expectation of winning both Scudetto & Coppa since the elimination from UCL last week..

now, Juve could probably ended this season with nothing.

7pts to 1pts difference in Scudetto race

make no mistake, eventhough Milan are currently not better in their run of form, they would definitely shown up against Juve for Coppa Italia final

and we better hope the Juve who gonna play Milan (and the remaining Serie A matches) was not the Juve against Napoli from last night...

not to mention those in line after this are the likes of Inter & Roma. God know they'll do everything in their power to try to indirectly dethrone Juve...these will be a tough month ahead

as usual. defending at home like what we did against real madrid. while we do not have the riches of a man city or psg or real, we aint that bad too but instead allegri chose to play like we are crotone or something. defending at home while we have some of the world's best attacking talents. we might end up trophy-less this season. a wakeup call for the mgmt that defensive football + bargain buys + free transfer used to work in the league now aint even working now yawn.gif doh.gif

I didn't watch but from comments from you guys, it seems it was a bore? And I saw the stats; we didn't have ONE shot on target?! I wonder what happened to us. We did all right for the couple of games after the Real match.

According to Allegri, in his opinion, the Inter match will be decisive, not the Napoli match. We'll see this weekend what happens.

Worst case scenario - no coppa, no scudetto at the end of the season..

maybe Juve need to have a foreign manager with an attacking approach. I hope they'll go for Deschamps

Italian manager, as attacking as they could be, there's still the "not to lose" mentality somewhere in em. So sometimes they decided to play defensive
instead of utilizing all the firepower they've

in my opinion

all the next 4 matches will be the title decider. Inter would be the toughest, Roma probably distracted by UCL, but also, as i mentioned b4, they'll always show up against Juve
what's more, when Juve title fate is in their hand(sort of)

a win against Bologna & Verona is a must. If Juve failed, yeah, they didn't deserved to be called the Campione

Absolute disgrace, I won't feel bad if we lose the Scudetto. Napoli deserves to win it more than us at this point. Playing at home and Max chose to sit back and absorb a full 90 min of attack from Napoli, lol!

I have no complaint from the defense, the header was pretty much unstoppable but Benatia should've challenge for it. And Pjanic, I hate it when he's frustrated and got an unnecessary yellow card at the beginning of the match. He's our playmaker and yet our CB are spraying the long balls?

At this point I would rather lose the title. It's so annoying to watch Juve play to not lose rather than trying for a win

great article...mainly about Buffon and his final season, both as Juve & Italia captain

http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/i...wright-thompson

as for the loss against Napoli, there's no use lingering over there as things happened

all Juve need to do now is doing all they can, starting against arch-rival Inter all the way to final match against Verona

Dude, thanks for sharing that article, what a good read.

As you said, there's really no point lingering over the loss to Napoli. Let's just focus on the next few games and if possible win the 7th in a row. Inter have been in good form lately but they also lost to Torino earlier this month, so...anything's possible.

I hope the team is able to overcome this slight setback and re-focus for the remainder of the season; we still have a lot to fight for.

After the season is done is when we should start talking about transfers etc I think.
