doesn't matter. Atleast the title race looking like an "actual" race.

the race in Bundesliga already over, BPL too if it wasn't for United comeback led by our former boy Pogba

now, eventhough our UCL journey "nearly" done & dusted, just can't wait to watch this clash against Real. Just want to see the team
going out gunblazing, and showing Real eventhough they got 3 away goals under their belt, this Juve team is anything but "easy"

Exactly! Guns blazing all the way man. I'm really hoping for that, nothing to lose anyway.

I think I'm beginning to understand what you and the others in this thread mean by 'showing too much respect' to opponents. We sometimes play like sacrificial lambs when it comes to the big opponents. Heads down, not fighting for the ball etc.

Sure we aren't the richest club and we are in a league which isn't what it used to be in the mid to late 90s but heck we are Juve, grinta, Fino alla fine! We should live by that.

Roma pulled a "Barca"...against Barca last night..not only the comeback/remontada..but they did the most attacking against that Barca team who rarely lost this season

a complete Jekyll & Hyde from the team that got beaten by Fiorentina last weekend

Roma just threw it all against Barca..and like we usually know, Barca didn't do really well went the team came up and attack em in numbers..look how struggling
they were in the first half alone Roma could've gone 3 or 4 goals up

now, back to Juve. I don't want to get any hopes high, but even Marchisio said, "if u stop believing, u r not one of us"..so yeah, Roma just shown us
anything is possible...so lets hope Juve can too

yes. Not only on the pitch, but sometimes, the Juve camp showing TOO MUCH respect on our opponent

like when Buffon praising Cristiano non stop bcoz of his goalscoring streak against him, and Allegri saying its okay to lose to Real bcoz they're great team.

Respect is great, but still, don't show em too much respect till they let it played in their head "its not too bad to lose, its okay to be beaten by em" etc hence
it would translate on the pitch

I can just hope n believe in our team, forza juve. What we really need tonight is luck. I"ll say just go all out,we ve got nothing to loss except avoid a bigger margin on aggregate.

what the hell....we're 2 seconds away from stretching the match to extra time....and what a cruel ending to Gigi Buffon

but having said that, i'm really proud by the team performance tonight

Real thought they would've it easy cruising to the semi-final, they've another thing coming

be proud of the team guys ....
we went to SB and show the world that there is no fear for RM.

had some of the changes be done earlier things might be different since juve practically out of steam already. i was hoping cuadrado to go in at 70 mins or so to replace mandzukic while marchisio cames on for matuidi.
it was a bad gamble not go all out for 4th goal which might kill the game altogether

Buffon rarely get this angry...the loss by aggregate didn't really hurt much after we saw the fighting spirit by Juve last night, but the end for Buffon...in probably his last match in UCL after turning the impossible to nearly possible (0-3 to 3-3)...disheartening

Just a disclaimer: I can't friggin' believe I missed the match!!! I set THREE alarms and I missed them all, waking up only at 4:52am when everything was over.

I have to say this though; I am proud to be a Bianconeri.

I knew we had it in us to fight till the death; Juve never gives up this easily. I read that Agnelli sent a message to Pallotta of Roma congratulating them on their comeback against Barca and that just proved to me that Juve is in a different league altogether.

I can't deny that we were robbed at the very last minute. Video replays and photos show that it was not a penalty and unfortunately the referee didn't see it that way.

We showed that we are on par with the best in the world despite not having pockets as deep.

Some people are mentioning UEFA favouritism and influence over referees but I don't dare comment on that because I don't know enough about it. But it is SUSPECT that the ref awarded a penalty at such a time. Neutrals might see it differently though, as bloody exciting match/comeback by Juve only to be denied by late penalty drama. If it was stretched to extra time, anything could've happened, I mean, Real could've had an amazing extra time and score as well, but with the penalty, it just felt like we were robbed of a chance. Plus Allegri said he wanted to introduce fresh legs in extra time...

Of course for us heart break again, but guys, fret not, we showed our fighting spirit and we were denied by something we could not control. We will come back stronger next year; I am quite sure of that. Whether through tactical improvements or getting players who are sharper to take over the roles of Asamoah and Lichtsteiner who seem destined to leave this summer.

I say it again, I am proud of the current team and the club. It should fire us up to win the scudetto and Coppa Italia and come back stronger next year in the UCL.

Edit: Special mention to our goal scoreres Matuidi and Mandzukic who once again scored against Real, his overhead kick last year was sublime.

Napoli worst nightmare just kicked in. With Juve out of UCL they knew we'll do everything in our power to retain the #7

say what we want about Mandzukic, but for me he's a big time UCL player. Playing well against the likes of Bayern, Barca, even scoring against Real last season...and that 2 goals from him breathed
life into Juve spirit

and another note, we never lost when we used our yellow/blue shirt this season, starting to think the blue-yellow kinda like our lucky color, and came to think about it, Juve lost all
the final in the UCL era by using the bianconeri shirt, while won once using blue-yellow shirt. Like AC Milan whose prefer their white kit over their rossoneri kit in UCL final biggrin.gif

Hehehe, you got it right bro, we are going for the Scudetto full steam ahead!

Mandzukic...oh man, been rather quiet lately, but out of nowhere in like the most crucial of games - two header goals. I did not realise Real were weak in air defence; maybe we helped exploit a weakness for other La Liga teams haha!

Can someone advise me, Real are third in their league right? For La Liga teams which top teams qualify for UCL? Top 3?

About our away kit, I did not notice that actually, very good observation haha. Maybe we got a thing for Swedish colours; in fact our last UCL Final win against Ajax was in Blue/Yellow kit right? With the Sony sponsorship.

Ramos got suspended last night. IMO he probably Real only defender who can match Mandzukic in the air

Starting next season, all 4th place and above team from the top 4 league in Europe(Spain,England,Italy,Germany) will have a place in UCL group stage

example, if this season Serie A ended like this

1. Juventus
2. Napoli
3. Roma
4. Lazio

all 4 team above will play in UCL group stage next season, no qualifying round needed for the 4th place team

as for the kit, im currently divided whether to buy the home or the yellow away kit, since the last time i bought Juve home kit was the Nike 2012/13 shirt

but the current yellow-blue away kit was so awesome indeed. For both the looks and performance reason alone

Thanks for the info on the top 4 for UCL. Back like 10 years ago, it used to be top 2 or 3 right for Italian teams at least? I remember England and Spain had more teams in the UCL somehow.

About the yellow kit, it actually makes us look sharper and stronger somehow. Always been a fan of their blue/yellow kit actually, even from the Kappa/Danone, Kappa/Sony Minidisc sponsor days, then during the Nike/Sky Sport days and now Jeep.

By the way, I just realised that what happened a night ago will be covered by Netflix in their second half of the documentary. It is going to be so heart-breaking to watch in documentary form console.gif
