Roma in QF means less money for our UCL smile.gif

but Atalanta first, they are quite dangerous. hopefully Juve can cope ...

be proud of the team guys ....
we went to SB and show the world that there is no fear for RM.

had some of the changes be done earlier things might be different since juve practically out of steam already. i was hoping cuadrado to go in at 70 mins or so to replace mandzukic while marchisio cames on for matuidi.
it was a bad gamble not go all out for 4th goal which might kill the game altogether

Ramos got suspended last night. IMO he probably Real only defender who can match Mandzukic in the air

Starting next season, all 4th place and above team from the top 4 league in Europe(Spain,England,Italy,Germany) will have a place in UCL group stage

example, if this season Serie A ended like this

1. Juventus
2. Napoli
3. Roma
4. Lazio

all 4 team above will play in UCL group stage next season, no qualifying round needed for the 4th place team

as for the kit, im currently divided whether to buy the home or the yellow away kit, since the last time i bought Juve home kit was the Nike 2012/13 shirt

but the current yellow-blue away kit was so awesome indeed. For both the looks and performance reason alone
*
buy both at juvestore. now sales for away with printing. I think just about 80usd

great article...mainly about Buffon and his final season, both as Juve & Italia captain

http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/i...wright-thompson

as for the loss against Napoli, there's no use lingering over there as things happened

all Juve need to do now is doing all they can, starting against arch-rival Inter all the way to final match against Verona
*
Good article.

Few years ago I got the chance to walk in Turin, few hours before wonderful match Juve - Milan.
The town was quite empty and lifeless I must say. It's like old Seremban or Melaka. If not for the snow, the road was quite dusty and old. KL roads are much better.

The atmosphere really change around Alianze Arena (J Stadium that time). It give people joy and hope. The colors of the city suddenly comes alive around the stadium. Probably I was just over excited, but being among J fans, went to the J Museum, J store, supermarket & marts etc brings everlasting joy.

Perhaps this is why Buffon was very upset. It was his last chance for UCL, but there's also 23-years wait for Juventus fans, and Juventus just come shorts on too many occasions already. It was just too heavy for Buffon.

As after the Napoli game, Juve camp is in a bit of disarray, and we as fans really need to stick together, even when losing. There are 4 finals not to be missed, so get ready.

InterMerda awaits as first victim biggrin.gif

I think while most of us are still in denial mode that the team and max are doing well, the management are quite successful on planning for next year reinforcement.

emre can, lucas digne, anthony martial, hector bellerin are just some of the names, and they are on the peak of age.

perhaps next year will be different game. I relly miss those days where pirlo just boss the midfield, where he got execellent covers from marchisio, vidal and pogba.
this is suppose to be winning midfield, and really this cannnot be cheaply assembled any longer.

i do hope juve spend more. juve can afford it.

i really hope pogba and moratta come back

ah man i'm so full of adrenaline from last night till now, anxiously awaits GE result till 4a.m and at the same time watching the Coppa Finale match

sweet sweet victory. Yeah, kinda feel bad for Rino, he's Milanista through & through, but not gonna feel sorry for those Milan fans who mocked us
prior to the match.

To Milan, you came to Rome FOUR NOTHING

Forza Juve

Now, another trophy by this time next week

to Bonucci, you went to Milan for nothing tongue.gif

I really like if juve squid is being rebuild with more italian players. at the moment the team is too diverse, and for now south americans looks to be preferred.
call me sentimental, but 1996 UCL winning squad consists of maily italians, just 4 non-italians in the squad. in the ucl finale, just 2 non-italian played.

but quality of italian players just dropped drastically these days and unfortunately FIGC did nothing about it?

Juve are well planned defensively. It's the midfielders and forwards that's always hit and miss. New scouts perhaps biggrin.gif

We got better deals from inter when we got Cannavaro. But we also gave inter world class players like vieri and baggio when they were surplus.

personally I don't like getting icardi as well. higuain has very good technique and rarely missed when he has chance. if he is at inter and plays at icardi position he might get more than 30 goals per season. he is however 31 years old now, so getting 60mil out of him is very good deal and swap with icardi; depends. max allegri can turn lazy and big head players like tevez into superstar again, he might do the same again on icardi. max just don't give damn on star status, complete control on big names.

so probably I would accept swap icardi/higuain.

actually i wouldnt mind icardi as bad his character is. i am desperate for the UCL. heck i am willing to take a convict if he can bring us the UCL

see sergio ramos's fouling of salah in the UCL final. i agree he was very bad to do that but see what he had in his hands? the UCL trophy. i have reached the pt where any player will do as long as he can win us that damn UCL. throw lo stile juve out of the window for the time being if needed  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

indeed, but Juve just don't have the money to spend year in year out. next year is another rebuilding phase. depending on the next set of players we could guesstimate how far we could go.

having icardi is more plus indeed.

it's quite worrying that the whole departments from forwards, midfields to defence need to have reinforments, and the only concrete name is Can and Perin. No words on our loanee reporting yet ...

it's good to know max allegri is staying put though ...

Chelsea is leading to sign Golovin. I really doubt he will be starter at Chelsea considering their line up, but he can certainly be good backup to Pjanic, or allow Pjanic to move?

they did not choose to leave juve. our mgmt decided not to extend their contracts and they left like true professionals they are. they love the club to the core. went to serie b for it. del piero has won the cl with juve back in 96. what pains me is buffon came close three freaking times and now that he is gone i must support against him from winning the cl somemore  cry.gif

our next number 1 is the former arsenal clown wojciech szczesny (need to copy and paste from google  rolleyes.gif ). He has down well in italy, winning the serie a gk of the year in 2017. Bought Matia Perrin the best italian gk not called buffon for peanuts. He will fight wojciech szczesny for the number 1 spot. dybala will stay. ronaldo is not stupid enough to come to juve to play with stefano sturaro or biase matuidi only. the only player likely to leave is gonzalo higuain. He was bought for 90 mil and he is good, but not enough to push us to the CL win

ronaldo still wants personal glory. honestly i do not like him. he has pattern more than badminton but i have to support him now. he wants to win titles in different countries + help us break the CL final jinx (we lost 7 out 9 finals only won 2). he wants to be the undisputed greatest of all time ahead of messi (i still feel messi is the GOAT for me) juventus wants him to promote our brand further. We already become the first club in europe to have a hotel, , an international school and a shopping mall + win that god damn CL. its a win win for both

so how can we afford him then alot of ppl might ask? isint PSG, man city, man utd way more richer than juve? juve is not famous for pulling off transfer like this. true. but ronaldo is not any player. his is the most popular footballer and the top 3 most popular sports person in the world and he has not become crap. he still score goals like crazy. he score big goals. hence our parent company (the biggest investment firm and forbes 20th biggest company per revenue in 2017) stepped in. they do not like to be our sugar daddy (they want us to be self sustain) like what psg or man city have. but this is too big an opportunity to miss. they want him to be the face of the other companies they own: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, CNH Industrial and Ferrari

and you know whats funny to round off everything? Ronaldo is bought on installments  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
CR7 as new face for juve is splendid marketing strategy. I do agree the man can win games and hitting hat-tricks like crazy, however he need to be handled like any other players. he is not the king in turin. will he be new king? only time will tell. if he can turn into good guy, ie conribute more to team goals and win more points, he can be new king. the throne is still empty ...

QUOTE(uzary @ Jul 11 2018, 11:32 AM)
One more thing, does this purchase will affect the FFP? dont want something like AC milan hits us. can someone explain how this FFP works exactly? and why milan been punished for it, but not PSG?
*

FFP tells you not to buy beyond means, ie spend more than 5mil more than your revenue, and clubs who posted losses more than some amount (about 30+ mil) need to be investigated unless they have rich investors. traditionally clubs made loans to buy players, now no more, it's all based on income. serie a club like parma/fiorentina went bankrupt because of poor financial planning, so FFP should hinder bad spending. ac milan post red figures for the past 3 seasons, and eufa is a bit concerned even ac milan has chinese backers.
meanwhile juve is buying CR7 on 2 installments, but that is about 110mil (50mil installments + 60 mil salary before tax). this is just about 1/3 of juve revenue which is about 300mil+ per year.

I think it's about time Juve being re-introduced to the world saying that we are big clubs because we have big player. in the past, ADP Buffon was caryying the torch, now no more. it's fit to have CR7. meanwhile players like dybala, bernadeschi need to step up and show they too can carry the J brand.

for the time being, i think Szczesny will be #1 choice (bcoz he deserved it, always did well whenever
he called upon)

but if he replicate his performance with Poland in world cup, Perin would definitely getting that #1 spot
*
Perin, on his day, can turn god-mode as well. it's really close call between perin and szczesny, so it would be interesting next year. it all depends how the GK can marshall the backline

meanwhile CR7 replica jersey now available at juvestore at about 500 for replica and 750 for player issue shakehead.gif

I hope for it also but as for now ADP still stay away from Juventus after being shown way out by the management.

As a fan of ADP and pretty much the reason that got me supporting Juve and the Azzurri, it was really sad how he was treated toward the end.
*
I felt the same way, but ADP on his last season was pretty bad. He just chip in 5 goals from 20+ appearance. If he still score double digit perhaps he would be given new contract.
