Anyone know the price of new set HRV digital aircond touch screen ?

Just curious, what;s the issue with rear axle beam? what are the symptoms like?

It's when you go through a bump, the moment your rear wheel go pass it, it will feel hallow/something loose, metal hitting sound "klunk"/"tok tok" sound, you will know it's not smooth(well cushioned). This issue usually is manufacturing batch issue, not sure if your batch got kena or not.

Not my car per se, but gf's car. There's a funny squeeky sound when pass through uneven roads unlike the metal hitting sound that you described. Lol!

my new hrv Jan 19 one has similar issue whereby a metal hitting noise can be heard from accelerator pedal or brake pedal when press them after go through significant uneven road or bump...
I went to 3 different branch in PJ, banting and melaka ...all told me no issue

May i know which branch in selangor or kl that you guys went ?
I need to solve it asap because running on highway everyweek

one more thing, do you guys encounter a significant noise from rear when press the electronic handbrake ? any idea what causing it
the service center guys told that this is common...

This is not the rear axle issue.
I had this issue for years. Rear axle amd absorbers had changed still the same.
It is body noise, near the roof & boot section. Need to do send in to SC to do body work for 1 week. It is common for HRV.
Send in to HZN service center in Glenmarie Shah Alam.
Technician name Jacky.
Problem solved.

This one is normal for me, I felt it has to do with the transmission design.

Try Honda Glenmarie, Shah Alam there.

The electronic parking brake will make a noise when you engage it.

For me it was the rear axle beam, as after changing it at Glenmarie it was solved. Other car owners may have different issues depending on manufacturing and driving.

Understand that the metal hitting noise and EPB engage noise are common for HRV, but didn't expect it occurs just two weeks after get the car.
now, I always joking to myself that the noise always remind me to slow down the car when pass by a bump or uneven road ... what an ironic ...
My car was sent to honda glenmarie last 2 months for 20k mileage service and found the service is not bad.
I think should made an appointment with them later..

I have the same "klunk" sound, when drive over bump, sometimes got that annoying sound and sometimes no... Speak to SC but they said this is normal...

anyone able to fix this or just let it be like that?

How do you guys fix the boat riding issue?
Maintain the tyre pressure to 220 front/210 rear, doesn't help... and SC also said this is normal....


Forget about the bluetooth, connecting to phone, the caller from the other end cannot hear clearly.... and the SC also said is normal....

You should check lower arm bushings / rear axle beam because I replaced those and solved the "klunk" sound. your mileage may vary. To me boat riding HRV is acceptable because this is not a race car with hard suspension systems. You may consider Ultra Racing stability bars if you want to, not sure will it void warranty.

I switched to another Honda authorised 3rd party Headunit when I purchase from Honda so I couldn't comment on that. The phone connection still relies on Bluetooth connection if wireless, many things to check such as any inteference, Headunit condition, etc.

I drive my HRV at 160-180 km/h in highway
So far ok and rear passengers no complain
All components are stock item. No additional add on.

The only difference is i'm using Pirelli P7 tyres.
Tyres made lots of differences in term of safety, stability and traction.
Been using Pirelli for years already, previous on other cars too.

This is just my opinion.

Hi everyone..sorry to ask as I’m sure some people would have asked already but still I couldn’t find any solutions, my car is hrv v spec 2019 comes with 7 ‘ inch radio ..all I can do with this is listen to music,listen radio and iPod ..this stupid radio apart then reverse cam and lane watch ..nothing else, No rds,no clock ,can even watch any mp4 ( audio format not supported 😤).

I heard we can mirror link the phone through phonelink..any one successful done it? Can anyone pls teach me ways to do it..tried using mhl cable on hdmi also no effect..feels like wanna throw away the radio .. thanx guys 😅

yup.. i think not covered. but depends on how SA going to deal with such case. go to weststar honda sc, beside zoo negara.

depends on SA, explain ur problem as in u are the victim, and mention about ur warranty, if u talk nicely to them, they will help fight for u.
