hi any HRV owners drive the passion red or Ruby red color HRV ? my wife is buying the BRV, she likes the red color one but we do not see many red BRV on the road, but there are many new HRV passion red color we see nowadays, can I find out if the Honda red color paint is easy to get visible stone chip marks on the bonnet like the Mazda red ? Would the Honda red fade faster than other Honda color ?

Could anyone recommend tyre brand for pre-facelift other than the stock brand?

I'm confirmed that there is some noise from my car dashboard when i drive speedy on the highway or uneven road surface. Do you all encounter the same problem? should i send to SC for checking?

the red colour from BRV is maroon-ish, no? passion red HRV is a different red.

dad driving first gen HRV, tires due for change. stock 215/60R16 . does anyone know which narrowest tire will fit?
and which to recommend?

looking for budget comfy tires. off course, not too cheap till trashy.

yea that is common for 90k - 110k mileage for break pad changing..i did mine around 100k mileage .. if dint change later it will affect your disk which will cost even more..

better early than sorry than need spend more for metal disk.

So far mine hasn't any, but it's too early to tell, only been using the car for 3 months... But I love the color and it really pops...

Changed my auto tensioner already

KNN kena RM750 do at outside shop, cibai HM no give me warranty. Some more want RM1500 to change.

Had to change already as very noisy, afraid jam bearing and going outstation this end month.

what is the symptom of this problem ?
and how old is your car ?

That's why I so cibai angry with Honda
I went to 2 SC. Both also did a claim of warranty to Honda Malaysia, but later the SCs tell me Honda Malaysia reject it.

So I contact HM myself, after a few calls, they give final word is warranty no covered. And its even written in the Warranty book, all Tensioners are not covered.

First and Last Honda I will buy.

Mine, suppose to eliminate the airplane noise when start in the morning. They change twice but the airplane noise still got. Maybe now too many claim that they rejected. Then y in th first place they produce shotty parts.

Mine 4 years 80k driven. Breakdown all the part claim under warranty.
1. Rear famos torsion beam noise. Change 4 times
2. Led head lamp. Vibrating when stop in drive.
3. Rear absorber. Noise
4. Front absorber. Noise
5. Stabilizer link. Noise
6. Drive shaft. They said vibrating under certain speed
7. Steering rack. Rumbling noise. Reduce noise but still got noise.
8. Rear left bearing. Kaput
9. Tensioner + bearing 2 times. Aeroplane noise in the morning .still got.
10. Push start button. Peeling letter. Now peeling again. Product defect.
11. Center armrest.hinge broken. Now broken again. Product defect.
12. Gear led indicator. Kaput.
13. Ceiling lamp repair twice.
Overall the car front still got noise.
I don' t know if it can hold on after warranty.

able to claim auto tensioner and side mirror motor

actually there's now obvious sound coming from my engine but from outlook,i can see oil leaking.just try my luck for claim and succeed.now waiting approx 2 weeks for parts

May I know you went to which honda service centre ?

my car just 3 months old, noticed there is a noise from dashboard. Sent to SC for checking and the formen told me this is coomon issue for HRV. He told the noise still not obvious, hard to detect the source of the noise. So ......

Can't stand the floating feel like riding a boat on uneven roads, even at car park, the car just can't hold firm.

Anyone installed spring buffer to make the soft suspension stiffer? Or any other solutions?
