Mine, suppose to eliminate the airplane noise when start in the morning. They change twice but the airplane noise still got. Maybe now too many claim that they rejected. Then y in th first place they produce shotty parts.

Mine 4 years 80k driven. Breakdown all the part claim under warranty.
1. Rear famos torsion beam noise. Change 4 times
2. Led head lamp. Vibrating when stop in drive.
3. Rear absorber. Noise
4. Front absorber. Noise
5. Stabilizer link. Noise
6. Drive shaft. They said vibrating under certain speed
7. Steering rack. Rumbling noise. Reduce noise but still got noise.
8. Rear left bearing. Kaput
9. Tensioner + bearing 2 times. Aeroplane noise in the morning .still got.
10. Push start button. Peeling letter. Now peeling again. Product defect.
11. Center armrest.hinge broken. Now broken again. Product defect.
12. Gear led indicator. Kaput.
13. Ceiling lamp repair twice.
Overall the car front still got noise.
I don' t know if it can hold on after warranty.

I"m interested to get a HRV for my other half. However, upon reading the remarks here in the forum, I wonder whether the face lift HRV is indeed a good buy or I should wait for the entirely new Jazz?

QUOTE(yfchun @ Aug 2 2019, 01:05 PM)
I just come back from SC for hrv 80k service. My Hrv have weird sound and SC confirm me that tensioner bearing need to change and it will cost rm1.5 k due to not under warranty.. and I notice that hrv reach 80k miles sure have this issue. Do you all agree?
*
yea .. mine already 80k++ (87k last service)

QUOTE(Ernest90 @ Aug 2 2019, 08:47 PM)
Yes in Honda book is excluded from warranty but depends on that SC willing to fight for you or not. As recently one guy driving hrv is covered too. Tried other place.
*
yes, depends on SC. im about to think if i pay with my own money to buy the spares, they might do it immediately. but because i die die want them to claim for me, have to wait laa..

go SC honda beside zoo negara. they following up my case closely until it fixed. 5 star! notworthy.gif

Finally added spring buffer to front and back suspension. It works great. No more boat riding.

QUOTE(jasonws @ Sep 26 2019, 11:46 AM)
Can't stand the floating feel like riding a boat on uneven roads, even at car park, the car just can't hold firm.

Anyone installed spring buffer to make the soft suspension stiffer? Or any other solutions?

Sad but true
Concerning issues pertaining Hondas lately
I now suspect that Honda is focusing on income from after sales issues
As parts and services are premiumly priced, I now noticed a lot of sad faced customers in SC lately.

Lol, just recently I had to fork out close to RM 2K cash for 2x Lower arm replacement at Honda SC because the bushings worn out. Mind you I'm only driving on city roads and only around 65K mileage (4 years+), the bushings shown sign of wear a around 50K mileage.. go figure.

Malaysia roads many potholes, speed bumps and uneven road due to expressway construction area. Really sucks, I already tried my best to drive slowly over speed bumps and avoid 99% of potholes still kena.

Outside reputable shop quoted me RM 16XX excluding alignment, claimed that will use original Honda spare parts, then I might as well change at SC because still looking at warranty period left about 8 months. I had also recently claimed the door checker(squeaking sound when open driver door) and push start button.
