so ive reached 78k mileage and its time for major service.
they advice me to change the fuel strainer set, and i just follow

after service all settled and take my car, ther is a strong fuel smell from the inside. very strong.

is this normal?

hi guys, to all HRV owners, have u experience this?

whenever the engine starts, there is like loose belt sound, like a "rusty bicycle chain" in circular motion sound trying hard to rotate.. the sound forever there.. very loud

mine is E spec.
the 6.8 inch only have basic monocolour display doing nothing just display only, ..clock, radio, bluetooth etc ...not a touch screen.
if you want to see your reverse camera there, go for V spec.

bro, after you done your replacement, any improvement? the noise gone?

my apointment is next thursday, i plan to suggest them to check the tensioner bearing ...i can guess they will say "ini biasa", this is normal shit ... so, will get them to check again

yea bro, thanks for sharing. its true, SA said it is auto tensioner bearing loose. have to replace. luckily still got warranty, they will claim to honda and get it replaced FOC . phew ..

they going to order that item jn 2 weeks time the soonest

finally after 1 mth of waiting for spare parts, my HRV auto tensioner noise problem now gone!

yes, depends on SC. im about to think if i pay with my own money to buy the spares, they might do it immediately. but because i die die want them to claim for me, have to wait laa..

go SC honda beside zoo negara. they following up my case closely until it fixed. 5 star!

yup.. i think not covered. but depends on how SA going to deal with such case. go to weststar honda sc, beside zoo negara.

depends on SA, explain ur problem as in u are the victim, and mention about ur warranty, if u talk nicely to them, they will help fight for u.

if i remember correctly, last time during my case got warranty. maybe depends on SA

went to service center just now and they said its time to change the battery. not sure which brand to buy. they offer me rm299 . is this a standard price?
