Really depends on SA and the dealer branch you book from. I just collected my RS (Grey color) yesterday. I would say my allocation was just pure luck.

1. 15 June - Put booking without down payment
2. 29 June - Pay RM 1k deposit due non-sst compliance
3. 30 July - Car delivery

My journey to get the car started on 25 July at night when my SA called me and ask if I'm ready to collect the car and it must settle all process and collect car by month end July. Meaning to say 10% down payment, loan approval, JPJ registration need to be done from 26 July - 28 July (3 days).

I question how come there's an available car for me since I doubt its my turn yet.

Apparently the original customer who want book the car have yet gotten nice car plate no. then move few other customer and few reason cancelled and keep go next customer in queue (either cant take out deposit in time or haven't bid car plate no.) Then with luck, it was my turn and ask whether I can commit and settle it within the next few days since they need close this July quota.

And somehow, I make it and the car is mine.

Another rumors my SA told me what is happening within the Honda MY is that Honda MY may issue a letter to those customer book before 30 June and ask customer to sign if willingness to skip their turn as potential to collect car after that may delay or wont collect by March 2023. A lot customer that booked prior to 30 June 2022 is taking their sweet time delaying and collecting their car. Since they felt that they have time to march 2023 to avoid the SST, customer are delaying their collecting and slowly bid for car no. or collect money for downpayment.

And after skipping all customer that booked prior 30 June and no takers, the car will be re-register under SST and those book under SST may collected it earlier than those book before it.

You’re super lucky bro.. hahaha
Skipped through many other customers ahead of you in the list.. I just asked my SA and was informed that I have like roughly 50++ in front of me, and these 50+ are all RS variants. So depending on how the factory allocates the cars by variant and color, I’m probably in for a long wait.

May I ask which branch you booked from, and when did you place your booking? I’m trying to understand how the allocation and booking system works while I wait for mine lol (also RS)

Might have to check the gearbox condition, as test drive car ppl might press pedal hard during test drive, just like me tongue.gif
But with mileage just 3600+ should be no major issue can be seen....btw i am owner of HRV hyrbid too

Congratulations.
IMO the price is reasonable, with only 3.6k mileage, it is a steal.

Almost 3 years soon, so far no issue. My average FC is about 20km/l. I saw some Jazz/City hybrid owners in FB group having gearbox issue after high millage, the iDCD gearbox have to take extra care, and recommend to change the gearbox oil at least every 40k (Honda Service booklet is 160k only change once).

My concern is also the battery, many says after 5 years need to change battery. Do you have this concern also?
