QUOTE(silver311 @ May 21 2018, 01:38 PM) Anybody here using the new Hrv mugen edition? Planning to get it, just wondering if it is possible to remove those side decals? i saw my friend removed all the ugly decal without any issue. Last weekend i went to showroom and the sales agent told me that the facelift HRV will launch in mid of June but not sure how true the news is

this is the worst ever facelift step done in Honda Malaysia, teased for months and still continue teasing. Facelift CX3 teased later than HR-V also on the road awhile. Furthermore, this HR-V facelift only keep teased and promoting the RS version, and looked at the media preview on the E-spec, it still using the old ugly tailight. This is really disappointing. No Honda-sensing, no AE-B, no sunroof, i think no apple car play as well...

QUOTE(minibeany @ Sep 28 2018, 01:18 AM) giving you some idea how to make your HRV look nicer Even Honda Malaysia facebook page reply to customer said "There is no news about that yet. Kindly stay tuned to our official website: www.honda.com.my and social media platforms for more updates. Thank you.". This is really funny that as an official page give a such response to customer inquiry.

QUOTE(theozis @ Oct 10 2018, 01:14 PM) Now it is time to test how Honda going to price the facelift as the car is rumouring to be launched by end of Nov as u mentioned... I believe almost all buyer are willing to wait until the year end bonus available, else there will be a big loss Just a minor cosmetic facelift which no change in engine also take more than 3 months to launch ....maybe honda want do a scrap this minor facelift and give Malaysian a big surprise with no 1 in the world get the major facelift with totally new design.

QUOTE(ryanlow134 @ Jun 20 2020, 03:57 AM) Hey guys, I've been looking into getting a brand new HR-V but I've been wondering does the infotainment system supports Android Auto? My dad owns a 2017 Accord that supports it and I wish my new car has it too. The HR-V infortaiment system is very lausy and not support android auto/apple car play, the only way to connect is through HDMI to screen mirror the phone, but it do require many converters to make it work.

QUOTE(akaneikegami @ Aug 26 2020, 06:54 PM) is it possible to use hdmi mirroring from phone for waze and still listen to music at same time? and is it true that the screen will turn blue when driving so can't use waze? you will need MHL cable to enable the connection, and bypass cable to enable the screen shown when driving. Not all phone have MHL function.

QUOTE(rolanddhavan3030 @ May 1 2021, 10:07 AM) Hi guys, this might be out of topic. But I have a question, so you guys know that now Honda is doing fuel pump replacement. So I went to check the product recall for my car. I own Honda HRV v spec booked on May 2019 and confirmed on September 2019. When I check by chasis number it displayed as HRV model 2018. When checked my father's car Honda CRV which bought on May 2019, ot showing model 2019 correctly. I'm not pro in cars so I have no idea why because I thought it supposed to be HRV model 2019 because bought in the year 2019 but in car grant the year manufactured on 2019. Confusing. I asked my SA back she said my car model is before the facelift... Mind to explain guys? Pre-facelift model was sold out around June 2018 and that time was tax holiday when PH was government, Honda has teased around the half year that facelift model will be launched but i think that time having the pricing issue for most car manufacturer and it holds back until Jan 2019 just launched it, the car is produced much earlier and kept in their factory, although the car launched in Jan 2019, but actual production date is 2018.

QUOTE(weihan98 @ Aug 1 2022, 10:18 PM) 86K, 2years warranty left for car and 5 years for battery. for free service didnt check. as the mileage is 3600+- Might have to check the gearbox condition, as test drive car ppl might press pedal hard during test drive, just like me But with mileage just 3600+ should be no major issue can be seen....btw i am owner of HRV hyrbid too

QUOTE(weihan98 @ Aug 2 2022, 01:07 PM) Bro so far you face any issue? Almost 3 years soon, so far no issue. My average FC is about 20km/l. I saw some Jazz/City hybrid owners in FB group having gearbox issue after high millage, the iDCD gearbox have to take extra care, and recommend to change the gearbox oil at least every 40k (Honda Service booklet is 160k only change once). QUOTE(weihan98 @ Aug 2 2022, 03:07 PM) My concern is also the battery, many says after 5 years need to change battery. Do you have this concern also? The battery has 8 years warranty, you should have worry more about the dry clutch transmission
