Hi, I'm looking for the cheapest board with Topre switches in the market right now between RM600 - RM800. Any recommendation? Mainly used for work and light gaming with it.

I am using a Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro L White LEDs Brown keys. My E key sometimes doesn't register. Any solution for this? Bought this on July 2017 not even 2 years yet but already have problems. sad.gif

easy bro, if got warranty then return back for repair.

if don't have warranty, try troubleshoot by removing keycap and see the switch if got issue.

you can actually ask the seller if he had a copy of your receipt.

a good reputable seller should have kept that info.

Okay. Thanks for the info bro!

Just wondering. I saw some youtube and some of them use dry contact cleaner. Is it ok to use that?

Oh, and here's my HHKB Pro 2 black, with white keycaps, red and blue esc/control, artisan, metallic sticker/logo
modifications:
BKE Light cyan domes, KBDFans Silence-X rings, sliders lubed with tribosys 3204, stabilizers lubed with superlube (heavily lubed to get rid of rattly sound, doesnt affect key press feeling much due to extremely high tactility of BKE domes) .

super tactile.

a very nice-looking board biggrin.gif

i guess topre-style ec switches are still better for tactile users, compared to other choices

TGR Alice with lubed retooled mx black and Sprit 68S springs.

retooled mx black are okay, but lubed tealios is smoother. but mx black does sound a bit nicer than tealios.

also, the 68S springs are noticeably heavier than tealios stock 67g springs.

retooled black's stems are like red's. the sound is most probably due to the cherry housing.
