does anyone know where can i find the tester switch.. with one key only? possibly those that can be made into a keychain

a buddy of mine got hit with leukaemia, and he'd be bed ridden for awhile. we all called him "E GOD" because of his csgo play style where he plays like a hacker.

wanted to get one with the letter E on it

Get to try out a friend's Logitech G613 few days earlier. Surprisingly i dont notice any difference comparing them to my standard membrane keyboard which im using other than the chunky keys. Is this normally what romer-g does? Im glad i didnt make the purchase before trying them out first.

wow. is it the tactile or linear version of romer-g?

right, it's important to try these boards out first.

From what i get on the web is that G613 has tactile switches.

On a side note, scored myself a great deal on CM Masterkeys Pro L. Will try them out before buying.
Just get both Red and Brown switches, one each?! doh.gif doh.gif

surprised that u cant tell the diff. ive only tried romer-g at shops, and kinda ok with it. but cherrymx style switches is still my fav due to kikaps compability.

anyhow, like how horns said it, u should tried out few switches b4 deciding on which switch to buy.

imo these days there are way too many switch options for us to choose from. from cherry mx style switches, variants that have different designs, and then optical switches that are on the rise. technically each have their unique typing feels. if we play around with swapping parts (e.g. housing, springs, stems), we will have even more combos.

the rabbit hole is getting deeper lol

Yes... it's a trap. Mecha keyboard is a trap from the very beginning. I was naive. I was just a small boy back then. I should had listened to the words of the elders. Never venture into the forbidden realms... but the lure is too much. Once I feast my eyes on them, I know it's too late. Now just have to deal with it. Instant noodles is my staple food now. hahaha... okay laaa... not so dramatic la. However, once you get yourself a hot-swap board, then it's even worst. You wanna try so so so many different switches. T_T

hahahaha!

well, just take it slowly. luckily for me i have found out my favorites. (linear; normal and silent; spring weights 45 to 60g; lubed) now most of the times i just swap springs to get desired weight changes.

for the rest, i just spend on switches that i think interesting.
