Is it only  custom made keyboards?

ok haha

yeah like G_KeN said, it's a detachable cable. it's a mod that you can do for your

Thin PBT keycaps = worse than most stock oem abs keycaps imo.

Its a detachable cable. If ur keyboard supports detachable cable, then u can build literally anything as ur cable lol.
*
yes compared to thicker pbt, thin ones feel relatively bad for typing feels. on the other hand, it's a very affordable option if you just wanna replace your spoiled caps

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ May 6 2018, 01:38 AM)
You can just buy it in http://www.leopold.co.kr/
Just need forwarder to ship it back.

Else, ask any friend in Korea hand carry it back to you. <-- economic, and you can waive the taxes.

a nice tip biggrin.gif

edit: i bricked one of the gk64 pcb lol seriously do not touch the keyboard while the firmware upgrade is in progress. i went and adjust the cable for no reason.

Thanks for the suggestion.
1. I can't read a single word from that website; Google Translate can't really help when the wordings are in pictures instead of text.
2. Any idea of Korean forwarders? Something like Buyee or Tenso would be very nice.
3. Maybe... maybe you can sauce one unit for me?

Thanks!

No other documentation. Only fill the Pos Laju EMS (Orange) form.
Please remember to take photo of your parcels, and the Consignment, in case the receiver need information from you again during the board stucked in their Custom.

Transit via EMS took around 5 business days. You can assume if monday send out, your receiver will receive on Sun or next Monday.

EMS (Merchandise) in fact the most expensive shipping with tracking; EMS is available in most countries, and fastest.
If you want to save some shipping, use Pos Malaysia Air Parcel. It only weigh your parcel and won't volumetric charge you.

EMS:
Depends on your destination location, you can check in the poslaju website. And you don't have to pay any GST as it's outbound shipping to oversea.
https://www.pos.com.my/postal-services/quic...lculate-postage
Go to international rates to see the shipping cost. Most expensive is ship to United States. The cost depends on the "Zones", the further away from M'sia, then the price will very expensive.
Ship to USA, 1.5kg around RM 210. Ship to Vietnam, 1.5kg around RM 107.50.

based on ur experience, if u use Pos Malaysia Air Parcel (with tracking), how long does it normally take to arrive to destination?

im planning to sell my friend's keycaps and keyboard separately on reddit mechmarket, so u would recommend normal international parcel service instead of EMS right?

At least 2 weeks for Air Parcel, and the tracking is not that up to date (live track). But it save alot. EMS great service, but price premium.

If keycaps, you can use Flexiprepaid, it will save you alot of money. It's like poslaju prepaid plastics parcel. <-- only for keycaps (lightweight and small size)

You can try Ace Hardware for Super Lube 21030. It's the grease type. This will be suitable for stabs. You can also use this for your switches but most veterans will advice against this. For proper switch lubrication, you can try Taobao. You can use a forwarder for Krytox GPL105. It's not cheap though. Good luck!

A single 50g bottle is more than enough for a 60 board. I tried both Krytox and also Super Lube on my linear switches, in truth, it's not that much different from both of them. However, I can definitely say it's much easier applying Krytox compared to the grease type Super Lube. Anyway, I only tried on linear switches and nothing else.

.. good stuff, and a good deal too smile.gif

edit: after a week of daily use, imo mixed switch types (e.g. clicky + linear) are really not ideal for typing. variable weights of the same switch type are fine, however.
