So much hate for China plastics:

QUOTE
And some brands aren't available in europe and don't give guarantee services here which all the bigger brands do. Guarantee is not the same as warranty, warranty is 2 years by law in europe but just assures the product is ok when you buy it and is given by the store, not by the vendor. When it breaks after a year you are pretty much fucked cause you have to proof it was already broken when you bought it, whats nearly impossible. Bigger companies like Logitech give you guarantees over 2 years or more in europe and will replace every damage without asking (except waterspill or something like this).

Ducky: 1 year warranty, offices in US, UK, Australia

Varmilo: No warranty or service information on the website, company in shenzhen, can give a fuck about europe customers

Pok3r: No Warranty or service information at all on their website

Royal Klugde: No Warranty or service information at all on their website cause it is completely chinese. Can not read shit there.

Same goes on with the other vendors.

Next problem with a lot of plastic from china are chemicals which are toxic and hard to controll for buyers and customs inspections. The big players are much more reliable that their components are not full of forbidden toxic chemicals and i don't have much trust in chinese companies which don't even have an office anywhere in europe like most of the alternative vendors you listed.

At the end of the day, it is all about the build quality and the users preferences. And i look for companies offering me service, not cheap prices and shipment from china with no service. I don't see a problem paying 20€ more when i get a guarantee and good service. And chinese companies sell cheaper cause they don't offer those services to their customers.

I can tell you at least that a lot of products from china are on european lists and not allowed to enter the eu. And there are several reports of problematic chinese plastic products. I know that all those vendors producing in china, but bigger companies care while some small chinese no name vendors doesn't give a fuck whats in their products.

I'm looking for keycaps with different colors for learning touch typing. Something like the one in the photo below. Even keycaps that split between left and right side in 2 different colors will do. Any recommendation?

Hello.... my blackwidow cherry recently has died on me. i suspect the board is fried. and Im looking into getting a modular keyboard.

Can I ask whats the best blue switch maker aside from cherry themselves? if someone so kind to drop me links probably i can read up on them thanks.

Somebody is offering blank board in carousell for rm36.. and i wonder is it worth it to build one keyboard myself. thx

maybe not. you should check out the total costs for the board and shipping service, then compare it to the total costs of the same from tmall.
*
At checkout, I click Malaysia. Shipping fee US$5 only.
Tmall has limited switch options.

Did a quick experiment with a rotary tool and some polishing compound. This has some potential!
