Exactly. Just that you need to snap photo of your IC and your selfie in order to upgrade.
Not everyone is comfortable with that.

each rm1000 charged RM2 fee also cant earn much points.

eg Maybank RM1 get 1 point and 500 points equivalent to RM1 so already no earning lol

perhaps need other cards that gives 0.5% cashback

Maybe can try those multiplied points CC. Visa and MasterCard only.

i have registered and use boost (for mobile topup only) since their launch but have never use the wallet feature until i saw an ad saying get 50% (min spend rm20) at kk mart...so this morning decided to give it a go..bought stuff for rm21 and pay using boost...after payment done, got the usual shake reward, and i get rm2 from it...so, is it just that? or there is another rebate for the 50%?

the 50% rebate (capped at RM10 and limited to 3 times per merchant) usually gets credited the next day before 6pm.

Nope, that's no longer required. Now they just need you to key-in your NRIC & voila, account successfully upgraded.

Missing shake,missing token had to complaint with the CS then only got credited

Btw my boost cup position is 153 and in blue team

I went to KK mart and tried to buy 2*RM10 top up to enjoy RM10 cash back.
It seems they used boost to process payment on different PC than the one for top up. sad.gif
