Do I get Shake Reward without active Internet connection? Made payment using Scan Me by walking outdoor to get signal, then back to cashier for them to scan but due to weak signal in indoor, no active Internet connection at time of payment. Payment was successful, after receive active Internet connection, wallet balance was deducted and refreshed with new balance amount but no Shake Reward received. I read in Boost Help Center do not mention Shake Reward must have active Internet connection, wonder anyone have encounter the same issue before or should I wait longer? (already been more than 12 hours since the transaction)

Have you checked in Profile tab? Maybe the shake reward is there?

Different from your situation but once when I made bill payment to UniFi, Boost app crashed right after I key in my pin. Relaunched Boost and the transaction was in History and the reward was waiting for me in the Profile tab.

I believe Boost will survive if they can gear up their expansion to more mainstream merchants, they gotta prove that the concept of paying using phone is really convenient.

Also, there could be a reason why they decided to continue the 50% cashback promotion until the end of this month. The hype will definitely be reduced if there's nothing much to offer from their side, so hope that their decision was to give themselves more time to come up with something more attractive to the users.

But for sure, the smaller and passive competitors (you know which ones I'm talking about) won't survive in the long run, and like someone here said before, the one with the deepest pocket will survive.

Nope, checked in Profile tab. Even cleared app data and sign in back, still not in Shake reward

Boost now forces you to enable GPS to use the app...

I just went back there to makan lunch, last time used to work around that area.

I don't get it if I click back after my payment done. Lesson learned, I'm now always wait it ask to shake after payment.
Better drop an email to them to get it back.

Some merchant's staff act unpolitely when I mentioned to pay by Boost. Lazy bugs maybe.

Isn't that a common attitude from KK cashiers? Well I'm not generalizing, I've seen some good ones, but some are just plain rude and cocky.

From my experience with using Boost in few KK outlets, most were fine with it, some even smiled when I told them I wanna pay with Boost. But there was once that I had a terrible experience in the Amoda (entrance) outlet, paid using Boost, amount got deducted, but the POS system didn't respond, the idiot beside the cashier said "line problem" in a rude tone, and then wanted to blame me for that, I argued with him until he gave up and let me go with my stuff.

Recently their response very slow and poor. Recently I just asked them if one of the outlets have the 50% cash back, then they asked me back, "please kindly update my phone number" before they can proceed. I really don't understand what's the relevance of answering a simple question to updating my phone number
