QUOTE(skyfusion @ Jul 31 2019, 10:10 AM) Hi, im using Maxis postpaid with RM128 package and 1 share line (RM48) for my wife. May i know the difference between Maxis postpaid and Hotlink postpaid? How can I lower down my phone bill and at the same time I want the same quality Maxis is offering? Can I port to Hotlink postpaid 10gb flex plus so that my monthly commitment will be RM120 for me and my wife? Thanks If you're already Maxis OnePlan users, generally you can't "port"/change to Hotlink postpaid, this is as per the FAQ. Essentially you have two ways to go about it. Option one is to port out to other telco in particular Umobile (because no cooling off period), then port in back to Maxis and subscribe to Hotlink postpaid. Second option depends on your customer profile with Maxis, i.e. if you are a loyal Maxis user and have good payment records, you can call the customer service and request them to do the plan change from MOP to Hotlink Flex Postpaid. If this doesn't work, then go for option one in which during the port out process the customer service will call you and most likely will offer you the plan change just to retain you as their customer. I know of several people who had gone through this option. Good luck.

Only can sign up if you are residing in Sabah/Sarawak. In Semenanjung Malaysia, 24 months contract applies. This post has been edited by alexleow81: Aug 15 2019, 10:47 AM

When i checked back the app, i found out that the data is combined with youtube, so it will show 20GB. It could be also that youtube data used for internet usage? Let's see since this plan just implemented today. This post has been edited by alexleow81: Aug 22 2019, 07:47 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(SamD @ Aug 1 2019, 06:11 AM) According to internal source, no different server allocation. Connection speed depends on the signal strength which is affected by some of these factors: - Proximity to the cellular tower. - Tower load. - Physical barriers (mountains, buildings, trains, etc.) - Competing signals. - Weather - Signal going through a cellular repeater. Usually should have allocation to manage congestion.

Data is combined in apps. This is not good as we would not know how much is separated for Youtube and data left. I will highlight this to Maxis. Looks like the data is refreshed! And it does not really benefited me that much because I have 4 days left before data refreshed! This post has been edited by alexleow81: Aug 22 2019, 11:45 AM

QUOTE(judehow @ Aug 22 2019, 02:35 PM) why you tube need so much data, if can give 20 th data for internet Seriously, they give 10GB for Youtube nowadays is nothing! Can finish very fast too if you keep watching 1080P or 720P videos. So don't complaint when they give you additional stuff. Maxis is well known, you want more data then surely you will have to pay more. I prefer this way, so that less user using and the network is better.
