Hotlink app.

The 5g icon doesn’t appear in the hotlink app main screen anymore on my phone. I guess it’s because hotlink has announced new 5g-enabled plans today.

Guess so but as per rumours Maxis and CelcomDigi might deploy 2nd 5G.. as they just want revamp existing infrastructure. TM won't be as they been monopoly for a decade in HSBB

But they need fix 4G coverage first. After got 5G all telco abounded 4G just like that

The Postpaid 45 is a new offering that comes with 30GB of 4G+5G and 30GB of 5G with a total data allocation of 60GB, which costs RM45/month with a RM10 monthly rebate for the first six months.

Is this plan ok? I want to port from Celcom old plan, the receptions and data very bad now

Go ahead, Hotlink Postpaid uses the same network as Maxis, so call quality, data coverage etc all the same.

Should be okay.

After merger CelcomDigi looks very bad. Network didn't improve & plans also just sucks...

Hotlink Postpaid now also has the addition of 5G quota
I received an SMS saying it will be added but I already see it in my account

RM30 - 2GB of any network + 2GB of 5G

Called CS and she said old Postpaid 40 no longer offer 5G and need to change to the new Postpaid 45 to use 5G

RM5 difference is quite small.

Anyway, I am still get 5G on my Postpaid 40.

Maybe CS meant that new signups to Postpaid 40 won’t have 5G.

yeah, I just upgraded to Postpaid 45, RM5 different with double quota seems good deal to me

This is just my first month with hotlink postpaid, just want to assess my data usage and the 5g coverage at places I frequent. May switch to the 45 plan too next month if it’s all good on data and coverage.
