It mostly happened in city areas, federal highway towards PJ, around Kerinchi link and also KL city centre area.

Not sure if it has anything to do with using the same Maxis sim card as before. Maxis rep told me no need to change sim card.

Changed from digi postpaid to hotlink postpaid and experienced similar issues
Strong connection but no internet
Complain few times all said no issue and deny unfair network treatment for hotlink
And now normal already after several reports lodged

Should be network issue. I experienced the same previously but I'm at Penang area. In the end I decided to port out after some consideration & discuss with friends for other network..

just want to check, is all of you receive the free upgrade of loyalty bonus ? the sms said by 30 August, but I still not receive any yet.

Mine already upgraded few days after received the sms.

Yes, received the upgrade few days after SMS.

I opened case with Maxis, as I still not yet receive the upgrade of 15gb

Umo line at Penang really random punya... sometimes on/off

Hahaha.. seems like no other way liao... only can pay through credit card

Not sure if MBB Barcelona 1% can be claimed for Telco bills.

Hotlink 5G Access Pass is free now ?
Previously is free for first month, then charge RM10 for 2nd month onwards

I just port in to hotlink. I selected 5G pass. How to get 5G and volte? My area in KD should have 5G easily but it's only 4G+. When using xpax I got 5G.
Update: have to call them to activate VOLTE. As for 5G, they asked me to upgrade to a another 5G plan. I am currently using the rm 45 5G plan.

Just gotten a new Iphone 15 today. Wish to try out Hotlink Postpaid 70 5G.

I had Hotlink Postpaid 40 before on my old iphone xs max as secondary esim backup line (main line is celcom blue legacy rm45 physical sim).

I stay in Northern region, at Alor star Kedah.
But most of the time, i will go back hometown in Klang Selangor area.


Is maxis/hotlink 5G good? Wide coverage? Speed wise fast or not? 5G line stable?
My consumption: Youtube, Tiktok, surfing /k, etc.
Monitor house/office cctv sometimes.
No online games.

From what i read, hotlink postpaid 70 package offers a rm10 rebate for 6 months, making it rm60 monthly instead of rm70.
then will revert back to rm70 monthly after that 6 months rebate period.

Rm45 celcom + rm70 hotlink postpaid 5G = rm115 for my telco monthly commitment just to try out 5G

Or

Other 5G telcos are better? umobile? YES? Celcom?

Can anybody give feedbacks on your 5G experience so far?

Is there any issue so far for the hotlink internet experience?

Ported to Yoodo already
Experience network failure twice
1 time even nearly 8 hours
On wifi calling but cannot call in out except in sms
That time was whole nation network failure
Then i googled found out multiple times maxshit network failure
Plus my home 5G signal better than 4G but hotlink after add on 5G pass become expensive
Was planned to port back to DiGi but DiGi wants to charge me sim card fees and RM 10 stamp duty
Which I ported to Maxshit never got this charges
At the end I ported out to Yoodo at the moment

Aside from the major nationwide outage I have not experience anything severe. Once in a while in some places network not so good.
Make sure you have tested and confirm that Maxis coverage in your area is fine.

does anyone know how to cancel the subscription for Hotlink unlimited social monthly?

I believe can just call 123 and ask them to cancel it.
