never experience this before.. is that your normal route under city area or you went to somewhere off road?
technically prepaid and postpaid network are just the same.. maxis vs hotlink seem just have different market segment/target customers.. maxis target business users while hotlink target normal customers with affordable plan.
prepaid plan always attractive cause customer paid in advanced and they could enjoy extra benefits while postpaid customer use first pay later concept.. usually lesser benefits as customer might delay the payment or whatever.
It mostly happened in city areas, federal highway towards PJ, around Kerinchi link and also KL city centre area. technically prepaid and postpaid network are just the same.. maxis vs hotlink seem just have different market segment/target customers.. maxis target business users while hotlink target normal customers with affordable plan.

Not sure if it has anything to do with using the same Maxis sim card as before. Maxis rep told me no need to change sim card.
