For Hotlink Postpaid 40, it is 12GB + 8GB, total 20GB, the whole 20GB is hotspotable.

As for my case, Hotlink give me 12GB + 8GB + 5GB, total 25GB.

Using hotlink postpaid 40 as well
Only got extra 8gb for 12 months

Too bad Maxis dun offer free phone like Digi, even Digi 40, contract 2 yrs free samsung A03, still better than nothing.

Hey have you tested if the free 5Gh is hotspot-able?

It seems that the data usage will consume the free 5GB first. I tried to hotspot but cannot see my phone on my laptop.

Edit: It's a mistake in my phone setting. free data can hotspot as well

Just port in to hotlink postpaid 60 ringgit. May I know what’s the speed after finishing all the 40GB allocated data. Cannot find it in their website.

Intended to change from MOP98 to Hotlink Postpaid 60.
But CS request change plan to Hotlink Prepaid first.
Thereafter only allow change to Hotlink Postpaid 60.

Today received a call from retention team.
Telesales pursued stay with MOP, she offered MOP Start - RM58 monthly (with 6 month special rebate - RM10/mth).

MOP Start come with 10GB + unlimited calls & sms
Hotlink Postpaid 60 more worth

Then MOP58 is the worst offer they ever have for retention. Even Hotlink postpaid 40 now offers 12Gb +8Gb for 12 months, on top of unlimited calls and free SMS.
Maybe you should just follow the flow, change to hotlink prepaid first then request again for Hotlink Postpaid.
I sometimes wonder, is there any quality difference between Hotlink postpaid and MOP?

Actually, the Hotlink Pantas prepaid plan does offer a great plan: -
1. RM40 for 25GB data and unlimited local calls
2. RM25 for 15GB data and unlimited local calls

Both prepaid packages offer far better than MOP58.
