Sensetive issue recommending product in the forum. Afriad ppl think I am crazy. Anyway here goes.......

Human Product - Pantene, Sunsilk, Dove, Clairo, Chalton(Spa) & Fudge(Saloon).

Pet Product - 1# All System & Biogroom

I always dilute the shampoo & conditioner before applying on my dogs.

Ratio Shampoo/Conditioner:Clean Water - 1 : 10

Always use conditioner after shampoo. Conditioner is a MUST in every bath. You can leave the conditioner on the dog for few minute before rinse. When using Shampoo just pour into your dog fur and lightly rub onto the fur & quickly rinse well. Don't rub & leave the shampoo too long onto your dog fur cause shampoo will clean & dry your dog fur making your dog fur easy to break. RINSE WELL on every shampoo & conditioner.

One more thing. Use cold/clean water bath your dog. No need use warm water. Cold water can help reduce itching.

Note: Above just a recommendation based on my personal experience. If any individual have problem excepting the above recommendation you can alway choose not to listen and do what you think best for your furkid.

when I bath my puppy, i apply the shampoo like human;
get wet, rub the shampoo all over, rinse. If i want to use human conditioner, can I do like this as well?
can use cold water for puppy too? (2+months old only)won't get sick?

Whether you are using human product or pet product. Dilute the Shampoo & Conditioner first before applying onto your dog.

2 months old still young for bathing. At the moment use wet towel to clean the pup up & use hair dry to blow dry (cold air). Wait till your pup is about 3 months old then only bath your pup using warm water. After your pup getting all the vaccination you can bath your pup using cold water.

Nice info. dude. Wanna ask, why did you dilute the shampoo & conditioner? rolleyes.gif

"Quickly rinse" <--- How fast should I immediately do? I think I will do part by part, the legs first, then body then... Ok ah? rolleyes.gif

Using Shampoo or Conditioner without diluting, chances that Shampoo & conditioner can't be rinse off cleanly & it may leave some on your dog skin & coat. That will cause some skin itching.

When you pour the Shampoo onto your dog. Rub into the Skin & Coat about 2 minute then rinse off. As for conditioner you can leave it onto your dog MAX 5 minute. REMEMBER RINSE WELL.

Why need to rinse off shampoo as fast as you can? Just take your time to rinse off just make sure its clean then only apply conditioner.

One more thing, since you own a young pup now.

Check & Clean her ears more frequently.

Usually puppies brought from breeder/petshop have ears infection problem. Due to lack of paying attention on the puppies hygine. Check for excess ears wax on the pup. Clean daily if neccessary & gradually make it weekly basis after bath. Use ears drop & cotton bud for cleaning. Don't use ears powder cause it will block & buildup more wax inside your dog/pup ears.

cool2.gif I think is too cold not warm.

Dog are very healthy, using cold water bathing them is no problem due to our Malaysia weather are so HOT.

Tail = Sausage laugh.gif

Dudes & Dudettes, I have a few questions.

- What other toys can I get for my pup besides soft toys & nylon bone? I heard someone recommended balls, if balls, what kind of balls are safe to give?

- What is a pin brush for?

- What is a collar, and what is a harness? Are they related? With leash too? unsure.gif sweat.gif

- For how long do I need to feed the pup 3 times per day? Until the pup reaches how old? 8am, 1pm, 6pm <--- Ok ah?

Below are the things I'm going to get after double checking and cracking my head, I roughly estimate will need to fork out around RM400 - RM450 to get all these items. rolleyes.gif

- Cage
- Kibbles (Old & New)
- Leash
- Water Bottle
- Shampoo (Pantene)
- Conditioner
- Comb
- Nail Clipper
- Scissor
- Cotton Bud
- Ear Forcep
- Ear Solution
- Eye Stain Cleaner
- Proheart Tablet

- Nylon Bone
- Orgaderm Spray

Is the above enough at the moment?

The one in bold, what is the specific best brand should I get? Just to make sure that I get a good product, so that my pup won't feel uncomfortable. rolleyes.gif

Soft toys and etc. I will get them later.

I've spent RM250 for 'something' I custom, I made a special place for him to play. Will take pics soon once I get everything done properly. biggrin.gif
