Dudes & Dudettes, I have a few questions.

- What other toys can I get for my pup besides soft toys & nylon bone? I heard someone recommended balls, if balls, what kind of balls are safe to give?
No need toys. Just gave him soft old cloth can liao.

- What is a pin brush for?
Will show you the photo once I get back home.

- What is a collar, and what is a harness? Are they related? With leash too? unsure.gif sweat.gif
Collar is a rubber type belt put around your dog neck. Whereas for harness is put around your dog chest.

- For how long do I need to feed the pup 3 times per day? Until the pup reaches how old? 8am, 1pm, 6pm <--- Ok ah?
3 times a day till the pup is around 7 months old. 2 times a day till the pup is around 12 months old. Then you can gave one meal a day.

Below are the things I'm going to get after double checking and cracking my head, I roughly estimate will need to fork out around RM400 - RM450 to get all these items. rolleyes.gif

- Cage
- Kibbles (Old & New)
- Leash
- Water Bottle
- Shampoo (Pantene)
- Conditioner Human product I mention early or use 1# All System Botanical Conditioner
- Comb
- Nail Clipper
- Scissor
- Cotton Bud
- Ear Forcep
- Ear Solution 1# All System
- Eye Stain Cleaner Tear Naturalle II (available at pharmacy)
- Proheart Tablet Heartgard Plus
- Nylon Bone
- Orgaderm Spray

Is the above enough at the moment?

The one in bold, what is the specific best brand should I get? Just to make sure that I get a good product, so that my pup won't feel uncomfortable. rolleyes.gif

Soft toys and etc. I will get them later.

I've spent RM250 for 'something' I custom, I made a special place for him to play. Will take pics soon once I get everything done properly. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the nice info. biggrin.gif

Old soft cloth can ah? laugh.gif , I have plenty here. biggrin.gif

So is it necessary to get collar and harness? Leash will do right? Dude, if you also have a pic of ear forcep... No idea how it look like. sweat.gif

The pro heart tablet, I should start feeding him starting from 2 months old till reaches 6 months old? 1 tablet daily?

Is it in tablet form? If yes, how do I feed him? Smash it mix with water? unsure.gif

Wow, so once the pup reaches 1 year old, 1 meal per day will do? ohmy.gif

Can I still feed him 2 meals per day?

Old soft cloth can ah? laugh.gif , I have plenty here. biggrin.gif Why Not, help you save alot of money here

So is it necessary to get collar and harness? Leash will do right? Dude, if you also have a pic of ear forcep... No idea how it look like. sweat.gif Leash I show you early post can already. Collar & Harness not recommended for Silky Terrier if you don't want any break hair after using it. Ear Forcep? Pluck ear canal wan? Use human forcep pluck nose hair can already wink.gif

The pro heart tablet, I should start feeding him starting from 2 months old till reaches 6 months old? 1 tablet daily? You should start feeding heartworm prevention tablet monthly starting 5 months old till your dog old dead.

Is it in tablet form? If yes, how do I feed him? Smash it mix with water? unsure.gif Yes tablet form. Just gave to your pup they will like it.

Wow, so once the pup reaches 1 year old, 1 meal per day will do? ohmy.gif Yes

Can I still feed him 2 meals per day? Yes you can. You just make 1 meal amount of dog food kibble into 2 meal. Usually adult dog seldom eat alot. You will know want I mean feeding 1 meal aday when your pup grow up.

Made in Germany sial, laugh.gif

Man, you typed like Phua Chu Kang wei. tongue.gif

I have another important question regarding pup food.

I think I'm only able to feed my 2 months old pup twice a day, morning & evening for like 2 1/2 month, will that be ok?

I'm busy the whole day will only be back in the evening. But however I will feed him 3 meals during the weekends.

So 5 days 2 meals, 2 days 3 meals, what do you think? rolleyes.gif

Newbiebetta: You also got a Silky ah? tongue.gif How many pup do you own? brows.gif

Another important question, if let say my Silky already took the 3rd jab, which is around 5 months old or more. If I plan to buy another pup (2 months old), can I let them play together ah? No?

A well behave & well train first dog in your house very important. Your new arrival to your doggy family will usually follow the foot step of the first dog.

Wait your first dog is around 2 - 3 years old then only consider getting a new one.

Unless you are very confident of handling 2 active & playful puppies.

Good luck

Yo,

Sorry about the delay. blush.gif

Here are some pics of my puppy place. The grill door I custom, cost me RM200 (after nego) and I use boards to close all the holes. I stick the board onto the steel using UHU Glue, you have to sacrifice the steel paint if you want to have a stronger board. I tried ropes alone, it is useless and don't bother using double sided tape and etc.

Initially, I wanted to use mesh grill, but mesh grill expensive sial I tell you and it is pretty dangerous. It can easily hurt the puppy, especially the edges. sweat.gif

The steel paint is nothing to me, wall paint of course cannot.

As you can see I also punch holes at the top of the board, using ropes to tie together with the wood. To double make sure everything is safe.

The space is ok for a pup, max 2 pups I guess. biggrin.gif

Yes, I have a balcony and the size of space is the same. The reason why I make that place is because if I leave the pup at the balcony, if heavy rain the pup will be wet for sure. sad.gif . So I came out with this idea. biggrin.gif

I will leave him at the balcony area during weekends or whenever I'm at home the whole day. Much nicer at the balcony, windy and he can see 'chiqs' also mar. tongue.gif oops.gif

Still not done yet, I need to stick the other side as well.

Damage as below. tongue.gif

Gate Door = RM200
Boards = RM12
UHU Glue = RM10

I'm suppose to collect my Silky tomorrow but the breeder told me that my Silky is dead. cry.gif sad.gif

His death is due to teeth growing, stop eating and drinking milk for only 1 night and he's dead. sweat.gif

So now have to wait another 2 weeks, for other Silkies.
