the RM80 included toll as well, for example fare RM77 + RM1 toll = RM78 you no need pay anything

the code auto appear in grab for both terminal control by grab app, uob only see grab in the statement, they don't know where you travel from
uob only check your 3 foreign txn and that's it

And surely the toll is additional.
The other day driver took me, via several toll roads. End up more than RM80. Additional amount due to toll, need to pay.
But its ok, i upgraded to grab plus, better comfort.

start 2026, annual fees waived for PME is need to spend 50K. VI and World also 50K. Zenith & VI Metal- no waiver. One or One Platinum - 15k and 50k spend. New requirement just released

Let's see how strictly they enforce it. I definitely won't be spending 50k each for my VI and PME.

well, i prefer they do like this
1. at least we know and continue to use the card rather than leave it idle. If you idle and seldom use, then this card not for you. Probably abuse for lounge access . They are consider one of the best bank which don't force you to use 1k within 30 days before/after 30 days to access lounge. Most likely they going to enforce spending if use lounge (next time,)
*aeon bank - rm500
* pbb bank - rm1000
* hlb - free
* hsbc - free.
* ambank - free (MAS)
* rhb - spend 500 previous month before travel month. A bit difficult as force people must use previous month.
2. Standard chartered journey must use 60k. even more higher than uob.
3. before your next annual renewal & really dont use the card much, just cancelled it. Clear cut. Most bank start to disallow waive sst / annual fees.
So far my experience
a) HLB - can waive sst as they saw got frequent usage
b) PBB - cannot waive sst and lucky got point to offset the sst. Dont care much on point as my priority is their cashback
Dont forget PME, VI is consider higher class level card with multiple countries lounge access, 12x point and grab taxi (free 2x per month), therefore 50k spend is consider normal policy

Was wondering about this too around 7:30am this morning, the code showed fully redeemed, but now available.

However, I noticed the promo code seem not working for EV car selections (level 3), maybe it’s limited to level 1 only

the promo auto enable when u choose the correct location to/from with the correct card, not manually enter, so might work for any terminal at klia.
the terminal 1 word probably still there as last time the limo only available in terminal 1

the charge back only on the 3 overseas txn checking, not terminal 1 or 2 as they wont check the location, just like you buy something at aeon, they only see Aeon, won't see what u buy

Regarding the UOBKLIA80 code, I was playing around the Grab app and discovered that:
1) If you are traveling from KLIA2, the code will not appear and cannot be applied.
2) It can be used for locations not within KV so long from KLIA1, I tried my address in Seremban and it works.

For those who have used this code in KLIA2 previously, how did it work? Any special trick? Or, probably, UOB has already gotten Grab to fix this.
