Hello. Does anyone know if the service tax principal waivable for One and YOLO card?
*
SST cannot be waived, it is payment to government. However, banks can give you rebate. So, when you call banks, ask for SST rebate instead of SST waiver.

That said, I get SST rebate for YOLO. I don't have One card.

I doubt branch has the machine to print credit cards. So no, they have to send from card centre to the designated address.

About the 0% BT offer, based on the T&C below:

https://www.uob.com.my/web-resources/person...ransfer-eng.pdf

If settle before the expiry date, got penalty RM100. If got balance after the expiry date, got 18% interest. So how to know the exact date to settle the final payment ya?

Since for the 1st 5 months, need to pay only 5% each, the last payment will be quite a big sum therefore need to plan for it.

Thanks
*
I took before, check with CS on the expiry date. smile.gif

I see, so did you also pay 5% for the 1st 5 months as per the statement and settle lump sum on the last month?

On the expiry date, need to settle the balance on that day itself?

Thanks
*
Yes, 5% every month for the first 5 months and maybe 6th month too if expiry date is after your due date. Expiry date settle the balance.

Actually the expiry date is 6 months after your approval date but best to check with CS to ensure no mistake on the expiry date.

Next time you can see the date at the otp page, uob will show date. From my experience, if do midnight, it will show previous day date at the otp page.
*
UOB always shows previous day on the OTP page during midnight's transactions but so far I have been getting cash back all transactions were recorded on 1st of the month. However, I don't use for BigPay.

For UOB YOLO, I have been getting SST rebate every year since SST was reintroduced in 2018.

Just called up to the hotline and the agent helped to submit for a waiver application and pending for approval

Then the chances are high to get SST rebate.

how both of you talk to the CS?
I told them, is it possible to waive the SST? They said no, then end the conversation laugh.gif
*
Don't ask for waiver. Ask for SST rebate and usually they will tell me no but I told them to check my record, I have been getting it every year, so they gave in.

You can actually see the date at the OTP page, next time can confirm the date first.
*
UOB OTP page is always showing previous date if transactions done at midnight, so far no issue in getting cash back for other merchants, all clocked on first of the month.
It is just BP has changed its gateway server now...

Well, not all merchants but it happens. So not a big issue.

One day should be OK but monitor if there’s any interest charged.
