Just to share my experience of getting SST rebate for YOLO, at first the CS will refuse and say it's government tax then I said I have been getting in the past two years, then the CS said will put in request for management review. Eventually I got it and reflected accordingly.

QUOTE(coldbasecamp @ Oct 13 2020, 05:42 PM) Just now UOB called and say want to give me free yolo (they will cover SST for me). These are two different things. The one you quoted is for those paying minimum and charged to be interest. The CS say no minimum spend is required, but as far as I am concern, each credit card got "Minimum Monthly Payment of RM50 / 5% of outstanding charges - WHICHEVER HIGHER" The CS say if I spend RM 30 at that month, then I only need to pay RM30. I really doubt myself on this understandings, can any Sifu clarify with me about this? I am in opinion that if I spend RM 30 on that month, I need to pay RM50 because RM50 is a "higher" option for minimum monthly payment. What the CS said is correct. |

QUOTE(??!! @ Oct 13 2020, 12:49 PM) Update:- I also received similar call just now (though CS called twice earlier but I was sleeping and missed the calls CS called today. Uob system didn't award cb for 'boost EC ' transactions as merchant code is under telco, which is excluded from cb Uob will manually post the missing cb for my card. She seemed to give me impression if future boost transactions goes under "Telco.'. Code, a call to CS to manually adjust for cb is possible. But to be safe...maybe avoid boost if other options wor ks for you However, mine will be submitted to management approval as I was not aware and unfair to me while yours will be manually credited. I guess mine should be approved as well. |

QUOTE(??!! @ Oct 14 2020, 02:03 PM) Yes, I don't foresee much issue. She said she will call me back again in 3-5 working days to inform about management's decision. It's just that I think I need to go through the same ordeal again next month as my current month's Boost is also without "3D" tagged. |

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Oct 16 2020, 10:12 AM) We wish to advise that some of the Merchant Category Codes (“MCC”) were categorized under Telco. The MCC setting was done by the merchant. Boost? But it's not your fault right?Aside to that we wish to inform that the Cash Back under this Programme shall not be awarded for Telecommunication transactions. |

Strangely I still haven't got the manual cash back crediting. Am I the only one?
CS did call me to inform about the reason and I was told will send for management's approval. Not sure if mine gets rejected. |

QUOTE(jianwei90 @ Oct 19 2020, 01:29 PM) their customer service team is inconsistent in awarding the cashback manually for last month's boost transactions. I missed three calls from them this morning, I checked and I still haven't got any crediting back. I guess, she was trying to call me to inform that she failed to get the cash back for me.This is what they replied me and I am requesting them to award the cashback manually: Further to your enquiry, we wish to inform that the transaction is not eligible for cashback as the merchant category code(MCC) was change by merchant to Telecommunication. The MCC setting was done by the merchant. Nevertheless, if that's the case I will make a complaint to BNM for this unfairness. It is not about the cash back but it is about the right of a customer. We cannot control MCC and I understand it could not be UOB's fault too but in any way, it is unfair to the users. alandhw liked this post

QUOTE(alandhw @ Oct 22 2020, 05:55 PM) I have accidently make the extra payment into One card. Is that possible to move the money from One card to Yolo card? to offset the card payment. In any way, you still need to contact CS to do the transfer, so you can check with them directly.Thanks. If no spending on One Card, maybe it is easier to justify I supposed. |

Don't dare to reload to Boost this month.. Used to reload the most using YOLO, so this month I'm basically stuck.
Need to check my bills can use which other e-wallets to pay. |

Yes, all failed suddenly but I managed to reload RM 30 with YOLO. Initially wanted to reload RM 150 with YOLO but failed twice.
Received successful SMS from UOB but I know it's not a big problem, they will be reversed later. I also tried with SCB cards again and also failed despite they were OK more than an hour ago. |
