before calling, decide how much you really need (plus some buffer to roll unbilled/promo/campaign spending)... cuz they have freeze period of 1yr (if not mistaken) before you can request to increase CL again

all banking apps are to comply with local regulations and requirements. SG or TH works for you doesnt mean MY would.

BNM probably has stricter requirements imposed to banks to implement in order to reduce fraud cases.

from bank's POV, stricter app requirement means lower fraud cases, lower cost to manage, but of course, at the expense of customer's convenience (which may indirectly caused many fraud cases to begin with)

so, it's a vicious chicken-and-egg situation. sweat.gif

RM50 cb need min RM2k spending. i guess can buy TNG RM1k/2k PIN @ Lazada using UOB EVOL to hit the min spending and even cb too.

i believe everyone else will be facing same delayed cb after citybank migration.

i suspect uob one's t&c doesnt match fully with citibank's cashback t&c... cb almost similar but t&c/exclusions are not, which is why a lot of citibank cb users got surprised after migrated to uob one.

there will always be some gap, some exceptional cases, that was not catered or handled properly.

IINM, uob only process payment update at 10pm.

your payment was made after 10pm, hence it was processed next day 10pm.

app/web transaction listing will be the following day (always delay 1 day, not realtime as app/portal will do daily batch refresh)


next round, try pay before 10pm or earlier. statement will reflect same-day payment date too.
