Got my maple wood toast skin few days back. Sorry for the late upload. I was too lazy to take out my s6 to take pictures, haha. Here are my findings on this skin.
Pros:
- fairly easy to install, it has a fair amount of room of error for installation. Took me 20 minutes to complete and it seems the installation was far more forgiving than installing screen protector from my experience.
- great for people who really love wood look skin cause its a real piece of wood.
- gives off real wood smell.
- not as thin as I expect (I don't want it to be too thin), so it might provide a little amount of protection. But I don't think the phone will survive drops 3 feet and above though with the skin. The skin thickness might be around plus minus 1mm-1.5mm I think.
- slightly noticeable rougher sense of touch, provides better grip than the original casing that comes with the phone.
- it's compatible with some screen protectors iinm, which I don't really know and bother since I'm not using one.
Cons:
- Very minimal protection.
- The seams are the dust collectors, but it's not irritating tbh.
- jilaka mahal. No free shipping. The cheapest was USPS shipping with no tracking and that costs around 5usd maybe? The next cheapest option was FEDEX with tracking and it costs me nearly 30usd.
- Be prepared to be taxed by customs if you're planning to get one with custom design like me.
Overall I'm really happy with the skin, despite all the cons mentioned above.
