I wonder why they still bother with releasing a Redmi Note 5 with SD625. To cater for common users who don't know technical stuffs about phones?

Not possible unless AP set if they can get.. Xiaomi Malaysia didn't give any hint on released date, maybe.. maybe Batam Factory not ready yet.. coz our market/Asean hold by EIN..

Redmi Note 5 & Note 5 Pro moniker only for India market coz they didn't market Redmi 5 & 5 Plus over there.

Others market if they got Redmi 5 Plus they wont get Redmi Note 5.. they only get RN5 aka RN5 Pro..

Too many stock. FYI, Xiaomi is the largest customer of Snapdragon. News said they bought a lot of SD 625. Of course they would have to try so hard to clear off the stock.

I dont thing so coz is all about pricing & at this day all phone with SD660 price more than RM1.5k.. If Xiaomi want to keep price below RM1k, SD625/636 is the best until SD700 series become available.. At that time SD660 is the best SoC below RM1k

My phone make me crazy.wifi disconnect randomly.play games 10 min and it will diconect,only after reboot it will conect.my teammate call me ffk.wtf.

Ughhh... i need this RN 5 Pro released fast lol. My RN3 SD already having GPS problem unable to locked in. Cant use waze or google maps.

Is it faulty or due to firmware version? Have you tried reset the phone? Mine is still working very well. I didn't update the firmware for quite some time. I think it is a few version backdated.

Mine and my wife's RN3PRO's GPS is unusable sad.gif
Not sure if it's because ours are import unit.

Yup after market charger has a plenty in AliExpress.
