Remember both indonesian price on RN5 and Zenfone will always be cheaper than Malaysia. Why? Both these phones are assembled in Indonesia.

Plus the zenfone camera is not as good as RN5. Getting this phone for someone who likes to take videos...

my family using asus phone as well, gotta admit their qc kinda sucks.. lol.. my family already got 2 phone rma
my sis 2016 zenfone mobo fail, went for rma and get a brand new sealed box 2017 model, but need to wait 2 weeks... shop lend her a phone to use tho
cousin sis pulak, dropped her phone ONCE and camera spoil, bad luck since warranty jz ended a week ago, but manage claim warranty.. lol..

Direct D website shows RN5 6G RAM/ 64G; interested to get but it

Says running on China ROM with Playstore can't OTA update -

Does this mean it's not Google Playstore? Apps like WhatsApp not available?

Or apps available but can't update once installed?

it runs china rom with google playstore iinm.
can't OTA update means NEVER update the phone firmware. other application can be updated normally.
