I think the Masterpass app can still turn the phone to become a contactless payment method, something like how MaybankPay works.

Not sure how it works.
Not sure it'll be like Maybank Pay or it'll be like BigPay (doesn't contactless payment).

call to PBB cs, tell them to set the sms notification on all spending above rm1

Rather slow to respond to inquiries and etc but at the very least, they try their best to resolve.

Unlike some unmentionable bank. (its yellow in color BTW)

never see any bank promoting this app...

MaybankPay only accept MBB Visa card...

dont think PBB can be as tech savvy as MBB in short period....

That does not use an app, you just need a Masterpass account and add your credit card to it, something like how PayPal works. So for TGV, it’s the payment gateway that supports it, I think they’re using iPay88 if I’m not mistaken.

What account migration?
Your card record is already in the system, regardless when you activate the card. The anniversary month is April even if you activate in May.
