Activated today and was told by customer service before this my area is covered under 4g, but in actual the coverage is damn poor. Only getting 1 or the most 2 bars of EDGE!

Just opened a ticket with Yoodo and let’s see what they can do to improve the coverage.

That's bad, even you raised support ticket, the only things they can do is complaining to Celcom. Personally I don't think Celcom will entertain such complaint in a short of time, moreover involving hardware upgrade.

I've requested their sim to MNP from maxis. Do i need to register Yoodo account first before the simcard arrive?

wait for the card arrived in your hand, once you are going to register via the yoodo app installed in your phone, there is an option 'keep my number', the MNP process will start from there.

I think there's two types of user.

1. Yoodo type - pay a monthly commitment fees like postpaid but nothing more after that. Don't mind if they couldn't finish the allocation as long as it's cheaper than postpaid.

2. True prepaid warrior - reloads and want to retain the credit they are not using at all. Probably looking to sell the number later when credit reached 4 figures.

Mine using mbb to receive TAC and other notifications via the SMS function. 5 digit restriction for banks as far as I know is allowed.

Interested to go for this from Basic 38 hmm but i have some questions

1. Does Yoodo support VoLTE?
2. Does the call include towards all telco not just to Yoodoo?
3. Can i change my plan(20gb YouTube instead of Instagram), without canceling or resubscribing?

What you think, is it worth it to go from Basic 38 legacy plan? My combo below attached

1. Nope, not now, but in future. Yodoo is using Celcom line, if Celcom doesn't support VoLTE yet so naturally yoodo won't be able to support it too.
2. Call is base on CALL TIME regards of any telco, lane line or even toll free number (still will deduct call time).
3. You CAN change your plan but with restriction, only when your NEXT billing cycle. You cant change any plan once you purchase for that billing cycle month.

As long as is suite your monthly need/requirement, any plan is OK. For me, I only choose 100min call, no data for base plan, but I do purchase booster 3GB for data. Reason the base plan 2GB is too little for me and I doesnt need 5GB with wifi at my home and office.

My total will be 100min call @RM7.00 + 3GB data booster @RM15.00 =RM22.00

FYI they have promo on 20GB data booster @RM20.00 till end of the month. So you can just buy 50min CALL and 50 SMS base plan after that purchase booster 20GB @RM20.00. That will cause you RM5 cheaper and 15GB more data from your selected plan this mth. note you can't buy any add-on (whatsapp/insta/youtube) without data base plan minimum 2GB @RM12.00.

BTW activate using my code [igayt6394] to get RM20 FREE in your account, can use to buy 20GB data booster!! So your this mth (billing cycle) data will be FREE!!!

So far no issue from my side in any underground (car park) at KL and I dont own any Celcom line to compare

And for the question.... Not full bar compare to how many bar? 1bar? 2bar?

BTW does it really matter as long you have the signal and data working in underground? You need to download movie while inside car park?? Note: I do not know any underground location (deeper than 2level) that have other usage rather than carpark in Malaysia~~~
