QUOTE(fat16 @ Mar 21 2018, 07:58 AM) I think Yoodo is prepaid because Pay First No Money No Talk. Any option you tick billing directly to card real time. Prepaid with card billing system. ok, that's what I am thinking jugak. ThanksPostpaid will call this advance billing but any charge and usage bill month later + one time stamp duty + gst every month |

Just got myself a yoodo sim pack, activation is a bit complicated, especially to link the bank's debit card into my yoodo account. Since it is using Celcom, the 4G speed is not so encouraging, signal reception strength flactuating from 4bars to single bar at the same static location. Connection wise, my Hotlink Fast is much better. I am try to see the pricing cost of data, which of these 2 telcos is much economical in a month of usage.

QUOTE(watekeke @ Mar 27 2018, 09:36 PM) Data I think quite Mahal. If u using 2sim phone, take yoodo for call n sms, then data take tunetalk +vibe rm200. 20gb /monthly for 12 month. I am concerned about internet stability as it uses Celcom which indeed Yoodo is much cheaper compare to my Hotlink. In my place, Celcom LTE speed is slower comparing to Maxis and Digi. In another, I am thinking to mnp my redONE number into this one as well, considering for redone I am paying RM8++ for voice and another additional charges for SMS whereas in yoodo I can customize cheaper a little bit at RM5 for 50mins and RM3 for 50 sms and at that RM8, SMS included. Little, but still a saving. |

the concept if a bit different from the normal prepaid, any purchases of data, voice or sms and monthly payment is fixed by debit/credit card only. They don't have any channel of payments from any channels yet, but to my understanding from their admin, yoodo is not intended to be similar to another prepaid. Mostly they are trying to be unique, between prepaid and postpaid. That is why they call it hybrid.

QUOTE(oktuck18 @ Apr 20 2018, 12:33 PM) Hardly send sms, but subscribing 50sms per month is like a waste. thats the minimum it has, 50sms RM3 and you can't send sms if you are not subs to that. But from the yoodo forum, they are considering to introduce lower minutes and sms.Can we send sms if dont subscribe to SMS bundle? |

QUOTE(adraxx @ May 3 2018, 01:37 PM) Can anyone share what's the minimum amount I have to pay to port in? It seems you can get a free SIM delivered to you without charges also can subscribe to rm3 SMS package only monthly, any other hidden charges? I don't know about port in, but sim card and the delivery is free. The card itself during the order, either you prefer to choose your number and what plan or you just order blank card and choose the number and plan later.Just to remind that mnp approval might not so smooth depending on which telcos you want to port out. I have read some few complaints from their community forum. Another thing, to have your number activated, debit/credit card is a must as they don't have any other payment options yet. This part a bit tricky as we need to call the bank first to enable the e-commerce function. |

QUOTE(adraxx @ May 3 2018, 04:47 PM) Thanks for the clarification, is there any charges like RM10 stamp duty like uMobile or rm5 charge for SIM card like onexox? nope, this is a prepaid, even sending you the card via pos express with hard envelope for free. The only thing to pay is the plan either data, voice or sms. Just choose how big or how much you want to use for each of the plan. |

QUOTE(footunhou @ May 31 2018, 01:16 PM) Hey guys, No free call for yoodo, need to buy when you want to use it. The cheaper voice is 50mins for RM5 for a month.Should I buy Yoodo or U mobile? Currently looking at u28. Cos Digi and Maxis is more expensive. 2/3GB data is fine for me. I need free calls only. I just want the one that offer the best connection and coverage. Thanks. |

These 2 months I am save a lot without needed to withdraw from my debit account. Being the 10 highest leaderboard for April I am getting complimentary of RM20, for May RM40 and the community superuser at RM30. Such a good reward for that I can buy add-on data at RM10/10GB.
