The booster 20GB for RM 20 has been extended till 31 Dec!! Yay!

I’m new this month to Yoodo, and I also only bought the voice call plan, and just bought a booster for 20 GB, because before I bought the booster I cannot access any Internet even the Yoodo application itself , So let’s see for next month can I use my basic Internet before I buy a booster. But according to the Yoodo customer service you cannot use any basic Internet if you didn’t buy any data plans that month .. 17 days to go FYI

And about the data block I feel like also they reduce your quota very significantly faster than Digi, because only 13 days and now my usage already reached out about 7 to 8 GBs, and FYI I have a broadband wireless at my home .. usually I use Digi only 1.5 GB per month (Raja Video RM15) and very seldom (can say never) to watch youtube FYI, I think I don’t need a solid proof to this #peace I still love Yoodo so far

I think it's important to check and compare against your phone's data consumption log. If the consumption variance is too high, then this is bad practice of Yoodo's part.

Yes, for those complaining about data, check against your phone data consumption. I set mine to reset on the day I renewed my data, up till now, they seem okay. I've just got a notification from my phone am exceeding 2GB and checking yoodo app, I still have 18GB to go. BTW, do not do speedtest while you're on mobile data, that thing takes like 2GB on every run, trust me

You sure or not? AFAIK only took around 10-75MB eh somemore your speed only 10-30Mbps, because my TIME Internet 500Mbps also consumed only about 150-300MB, CMIIW

My bad, I believe my data usage was about to reach 2GB and when I did my speedtest, the 2GB warning come up on mine.

What phone are u using? Do u have this Captive Portal Login notification when u turn on Yoodo data?
Based on Yoodo CS, no basic Internet if no data purchased for the plan cycle but many here reported still manage to use basic Internet even in grace period. Maybe next month I will buy the booster and see whether basic Internet works after next cycle

my opinion same as yours, i dont feel the data goes down like others, maybe digi has youtube, facebook, wechat quota that does not affect main quota hence it appears it doesnt goes down fast

I tried 3 sims in different cycles and it really worked! These 2 days I didn't subscribe to any base plan but still can access lowyat forum as usual but with turtle page loading speed, I think not exceeding 10k/s as shown at notification panel.

I tried on Chrome, TGV app, Yoodo app, HongLeongConnect app, whatsapp no problem except for it's slow speed. Whatsapp listened to voice recording a bit retard... I personally think that can't support Gmap or Waze la so never tried on these two haha!

I also MNP 3 numbers together and previously not on any data plan, one of it sms plan where another one on call plan since there's data booster promo ongoing, and one just subscribed to RM3 50 sms plan to keep the number for every 90 days (1-month RM3 subscription with another 60 days Grace period, must remember to buy the sms plan on or 1 day prior else the number gone)!

Hey thanks for letting us know. So proven in order to get basic data, first must subscribe to any one of the data booster plan. Not sure though if the basic data has a quota.

Your third number why not port to XOX. Cost only RM10 and validity up to 28mths. No need to keep monitoring until 28 mths later.

XOX only for light user and those still on nokia phone.

Since promo end of the year, use before porting to XOX will be the best choice.

Otherwise...rm3 50sms to keep number alive every 3 month still gooding.

managed to port in successfully from Umobile GX50. Best decision ever!

Internet speed damn fast and stable, compared to shitty Umobile speed at my office area in KL Sentral.
