erm... after reading AX850 seems a good PSU, but a lot of DOA/kaput after few months/buzzing.

Now thinking to buy PCP&C.

my 750W PCP&C rock solid!

Mine too! IT'S BEEN A FEW YEARS... thinking of swapping with someone else... i have the blue one... or might just powder coat the housing.

Hi, after i turn my computer on standby (sleep) my psu (corsair TX650M) makes a buzzing/low pitched whine noise. I can hear it clearly when I put my ear right up next to the PSU even I stand beside next to it. Just a little concerned about the buzzing. Is it normal?

hi guys, i am assemble my rig and originally wanna take seasonic M12II as my PSU, but there is no stock currently in my area. currently i can choose Seasonic G-550w or SilverStone ST60F-P 600w, or other brands.
my spec as per below:

CPU: i7-3770K
Mobo: Z77 Extreme4
GPU: Leadtek GTX670
HDD: WD10EZEX 1TB
casing: K280 ATX
ram: 2x Team Elite DDR3 4GB 1333Mhz
fan: CM Hyper 212 Evo
wireless adapter: TL-WDN3200
lg dvd writer.

is 550w enough for my spec? of course included OC~

Yes. Though I'd get the Seasonic G550 because it has a stronger +12V rail (540W) instead of 480W on the ST60F-P.

Hello guys, I'm thinking of upgrading my current PSU to something with a little bit more juice to power my CFX setup. Need sifus' recommendation notworthy.gif

My system specs:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Budget is ~RM400, what I have in mind:
1) Xigmatek NRP 800W - RM369
2) Xigmatek Centauro 800W - RM399
3) Enermax NAXN 850W - RM399 (promo price)

Or can I keep my Corsair TX650M? rclxms.gif

Thanks!

Look like you overclocked the hell out of your 3770K... sweat.gif
Are you going to put another HD7870XT?
If you can up your budget a bit consider the Rosewill Capstone 750W for RM429 from CyntrixTech/NovusTech @ Garage Sales... Made by SuperFlower, a very reputable (but underrated) manufacturer. The Capstones are much better PSUs compared to the ones you have listed. 80+ Gold certified as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to check out Rosewill PSU but NovusTech's topic hasn't been active for close to 4 months now hmm.gif And no, my motherboard only has two PCIE x16 slots so two cards is max smile.gif

Equivalent wattage for Seasonic is way over my budget, although I know they are good sweat.gif So I'll just settle for tier 2 PSU.

More than enough. Heck that PSU can power 2 OC 7970s with an overclocked CPU.
BTW why do you want to SLI your 560Ti? You will be VRAM limited since you can't have twice the VRAM in SLI config.

What do you recommend?

I bought this rig on 2011, back then 3rd Gen GPU/MOBO/CPU are not even exist yet.

It would be best for you to upgrade to a beefier single GPU. wink.gif
If you still insists to SLI them, a 600-650W should do it fine, albeit a quality 550W may do it just OK. tongue.gif
Seasonic G 550 would be my choice, or get the Rosewill Capstone 650W from CyntrixTech@Garage Sales (you may not get a response from him for several weeks since he is moving his office to a new location.)

Try 80 platinum Corsair AX760 or AX860i for single card if 2-way use HX1200 or AX1200i... smile.gif
