for real psu output, use multimeter to check it
hardware monitoring tools might be affected by motherboard circuitry.

Looking for :
-600-700w
-Full modular
-80plus gold
-good noise, peak, and reliable.
-budget, none specific

I eyed on Seasonic x-660 & TT toughpower grand 650 so far. I really liked the design or toughpower grand but review says it has too much cons.

Corsair AX1200i 1200W Reviewed by JonnyGuru

user posted image

QUOTE
Summary
Do we really have to say anything else? The AX1200i tested almost perfectly, and held its ground showing us that the DSP design is the next step in the evolution of the ATX PSU. You can't ask for any better results than what we've seen today. The only improvements left to make are a few extra PCI-E cables wink.gif, and maturity of the software. I'm sure Corsair is going to get us some more features to play with in the Corsair LINK2 software. I know there will be some complaints about the value of the unit as well. But, keep in mind that when you want the BEST, you generally have to pay for it. With there only be $20 difference between this unit and the next one to it. The added software and functionality it offers, paired with the improved performance over the competitor, easily make up for any pricing issues in my book.

The Good:
    Fully modular.
    80+ Platinum Efficiency.
    Excellent Voltage Regulation.
    Excellent Noise/Ripple suppression.
    Superb build quality.
Silent fan mode up to around 360W load.
    7 Year Warranty.

The Bad:
    Not a damn thing!

The Mediocre:
Still has the mixed flat / sleeved cables.
A little pricey, but easily overlooked.

erm... after reading AX850 seems a good PSU, but a lot of DOA/kaput after few months/buzzing.

Now thinking to buy PCP&C.

my 750W PCP&C rock solid!

Your PSU is good enough for normal usage. Realistically speaking there are a lot of people out there who use generic no-name brand psu without any issues for many years. Coolermaster low end series psu only not suitable if you are overclocking because the inner components might not be durable enough to handle stress. Not to worry if all you do is casual gaming, office work or net surfing.

I have a 6 or 7 year old cap ayam psu that is still working fine in my sister's rig.

your spec (according to your siggy) only consume around 350-370W max.
you can even run 6970 CFX/ GTX 580 SLi with that X760.
