Hmm... Can I get get away with my current PSU Seasonic G550 with below setup?

Ryzen 5 2600 oc to 3.9ghz + zotac rtx 2070 super + 16gb hyper x fury ddr4 2666mhz to 3000mhz + asrock b450 pro4?

Using https://outervision.com/b/IjY6kE to calculate for my spec and it recommend 521W, the load watt is 471W.

Age of your PSU? Could be anything up to 7 years.

Anyways.. the topology is fine and I'd be positive for it to be sufficient for your set up.

Should your system against all odds suddenly turn off under high load you'll know why wink.gif

Hmm... I purchase that PSU at 2012, so it is near to 8 years usage. Damn scare it exploded and damaged my other components as I just bought them not long ago. Decided to upgrade my rig after 8 years of usage, haha.

Ye 8 years can cause quite some degradation depending on usage.

In term of topology your PSU however is fine and up to the job.

Not a pro regarding PSU's myself but if I was you and I felt that capacitors have degraded n would therefore be scared of noise and the additional stress it puts on your new components when they try to compensate
... just go with a new one then.

TBH as long as its a good PSU (not those cheap Armageddon), and no defect, then just use.

If unsure, refer to this nia: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1116640-psu...-psu-tier-list/

If say PSU is bad then better swap. After so long liao, money well spent.

Super Flower Leadex III has a white version.
Corsair RM series also
Coolermaster V series also has a white one.

Most come in 650/750/850w iirc
