If you really want to know WTH is going on, consider getting a packet sniffer like Ethereal (or is it wireshark now?) and capture every packet that leaves and enter your system. I use it a lot to find out what is going on when networks are flooded to find the computer that is causing the problem.

I cant even surf the net because it's eating up all my upload speed.

that's the problem....i always download wen i'm sleeping cuz i can't surf at all....so far didn't heard any solution for this

what is the setting need to configure for xunlei?

i dont get good speed... still 3kb/s.... similar to utorrent

No need to configure...juz default setting....
Go dattebayo and download naruto or bleach....see how fast the speed u will get....
If ur speed more than 100KB then ur xunlei works....which means ur torrent files with 3k/s don have enough peer to seed....

another with 60 peers = 9kb/s

im on 512kbps btw....

Did u check the completed torrent, Thunder moved the completed torrent from the main tab to another tab, it might still seeding the torrent.

I've moved back to mTorrent for BT though, with ssh tunneling it works great from just about anywhere

how does xunlei works? i mean how it works differently compared to bittorent?

what protocol does it use? why tmnet unable to 'filter'...

i've been trying to figure that bit out for almost a year now. i still dont really get it but amazingly it works for me.
however i still do wish they actually work on private seeders as well.

If you have the time, please check on HeHeHunter's signature. It explains some. Most of it still blank to me.

It uses false html header so tmnet filter cannot detect it as BT traffic, hence no throttling.

simply put, it sneak behind streamyx to download stuff.

feeling a lil bit doubtfull of the safety of xunlei. Those ppl who doesnt haf any problem ( and those who haf prob ) wif their xunlei (malware related). Where did u guys get ur xunlei installer from? is it from their main site?

yea i agree to the first statement. Its also fast for some anime's with high seeders such as naruto and bleach from dattebayo.
Deluge crashed on me several times a night. It got annoying so i left it in my Recycle bin. Back to secureix and Bitcomet for me when it comes to English stuffs.

Well, if you feel that there's a problem with xunlei, use the no-ads version.

What I see is, download at 60KBps and I am able to surf the web on a 512 package.

However, after my termination of screamyx, I used the schools internet and I could grab a 300KBps on a 5M line.

Therefore, I believe that xunlei still works.

Well, I hope the English translation still works. Although the translation files are quite old but it's sufficient enough to translate everything related to torrent right? So, I will look into translating the untranslated words. Don't put too high hopes on me as I am just a BANANA.
