Just recovered from very unusual port in from redone amazing28 to black b10. First 24 hours, I couldn't send or receive sms properly.

Checked with some dealers who couldn't help me. Dialed in to service center but those nice and patient guys also couldn't help me.

It was only after a complete 24 hours cycle give or take 8 hours ( sleeping). That now I have full capabilty.

So, only word of advice that I can offer is that we port in when we have 24 hours where we don't need to receive or send any Smses. This means no TAC required activity, no self purchase or self top up and so on

Over all, it is a nice plan...

Words of warning. The plan is so new that

1) the information written on the sim card can be wrong.
2) the service guy in the help line could be wrong, one example is that the service guy told me that I cannot check balance by sending "BAL" to 22111 ( for black) but in fact you can.
3) Dealers keep saying wrong things. One time saying we cannot buy season pass then saying we can.

Few problems facing here on black
1) FnF only allow 5 maximum numbers!!
2) Normal sms to share Credit with other user not working. So can we share credit at all? I get this reply to the transfer credit sms to 22111

There are some Error When calling this Method

Finally cleared some confusions with the Facebook Onexox

1) Black cannot share credit.
2) Black does not have FnF services because call rates and sms are the same as other numbers. Funny thing is, I managed to submit 5 smile.gif , so system is still not finalise?
3) One more question not answered yet though, I couldn't redeem loyalty points through the standard system sms. If we cannot redeem lyt points for sms, then what is it for?

Just sharing with those who don't know..

Ok bro ... first, why did you go for onexox B10 ? Maybe because you think its cheap at RM10 monthly with 1GB data + 20 minutes calls ?

A simple calculation for the next six months:
1. you pay RM10 every month or you can pay one-shot upfront RM60
2. B10 x 6 months = RM60 and you get total 6GB data and 120 minutes calls
3. The only advantage is the data quota is usable directly without having to activate as monthly plan
4. However, you must pay your bills monthly or in advance

Compare to a onexox prepaid for the same RM60:
1. You already get 28 months validity when you mnp
2. RM60 can get you SP Plus 60 = 7GB data + 383 minutes + 50 sms
3. When you topup RM60, you get additional 60 days validity and it becomes 30 months total
4. However, the season pass quota must be activated as monthly plan for internet access.

The dealers here told me that the B10 is intended for sub-lines where the principal line can share out their data+minutes+sms to their sublines ....

It made sense for B10 as sub-lines because B10 only allows RM10 credit limit .... so if you register for kids use then they cannot simply buy season pass or make calls/sms more than the credit limit ...

Between onexox prepaid and onexox black, I will stay with the prepaid plan for the long validity + topup only when needed + season pass plus + a bunch of other reasons ...

Thanks bro.

I am still trying to figure this out and you just confirmed another fact to me, that the b10 is for sublines.

The thing that attracted me about black is the no burn feature and the no need to activate data feature.

Actually, if there was another plan between B39 and B10, I would have taken it, as my data usage is somewhere between 2gb-4gb a month, with some calls and sms. So that I can share what ever data I accumulate with my prepaid line.

Right now, I have topped up my B10 with 10gb of data,, sms and calls up to 50. So let's see what is my sweet spot?

Once I get over the hype of the no burm and get use to activation of data, I just go back to prepaid.

Appreciate your clear explanation, that no dealer can or bothered to give.
