haha i thought you don't want Acer, the highest performance and graphic wise still is Asus G1s. Second at this moment is Acer Gemstone. I think next one will HP HDX if it ever come to malaysia shore.
Stylish i will always vote for HP.
But really stylish does not come in raw power. That why i still prefer like Asus or Acer.
he wanna get something tht is around 4 - 5 k ^ ^
tht left him , Gemstone , F3Sc , BENQ S41 , A8sc

hey guyz, would like u guyz opinion for sth:
in tat range of RM5k,
option 1:
I can get a Benq S41 or a gemstone with a decent 8600 graphics and most probably 1GB or 2GB RAM
option 2:
If i say I'm able to get a used desktop without LCD for less RM1500 with the specs below:(almost 2yrs)
AMD64 Socket 939 Opteron 146 with original HSF (Boxed)
ABIT KN8 Ultra with Zalman CNPS9500LED
Leadtek 6600GT Extreme PCI-e with 2 bundled game
80GB Hitachi SATA (Serial CBF483XC)
160GB Hitachi D/Star 7200/8M PATA (Serial TCC38KDA)
20GB Maxtor PATA
Logitech Internet Pro Desktop Black Keyboard & Mouse
BenQ DW1625 Lightscrib
WinTV-PCI-FM TV Card (Boxed)
Audigy 2 ZS with Creative T5400 5.1 Speakers & Creative Rear Speaker Stands
Verudium VorteX 430Watts
Coolermaster Centurion 5 with Side Panel & ACRyan UV light tubes and cables
RM500 i spend it on LCD.
remaining RM3k. I need a laptop anyhow. SO shud i settle for this DELL AMD turion with 2GB ram, DVDcombo, 3yrs warranty, ATIx300 integrated, but with win XP. its around RM3k.
which option shud i choose? 1st or 2nd. i'm more to the 2nd option. but can any1 recommend any lappies with a good spec below RM3k?and is reliable? I'm not so sure about DELL's quality some say its ok ok, some say, after 1 yr, bye bye..
get option 1 more better ^ ^
haha ...

themagnificentman,
to me, I would actually go for option 1.
The computer that you might be able to purchase, is quite low end these days and will only have a life span of about, 2 years MAXIMUM.......
The motherboard and graphics card already a dying breed (Believe me, I own 2 Socket 939 Systems and it's impossible to find a new processor..... have to hit up LYN trade zone for that one)......
However, the laptops in option one provides quite alot of robust power and with the left over cash, you can add in more RAM or HDD space.....
That's just my 2 cents.....
yeah ^ ^
i agree with u bro ...
