This thing sucks electricity like nobodys business. Way more than aircon. Better to put under ceiling fan and dry .
Dryer: Is it worth the moolah?

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 16 2018, 09:32 AM) Cannot blame the dryer but the idiot using. Some have mode call Permanent Press. What is does is actually cooling off the temperature gradually as the dryer approaches end of cycle. This way your clothes will not wrinkle. Same as if you dry under the sun. If you leave it until too dry, it will be wrinkled and hard to straightened up even with ironing. Remove your clothes as soon as it dry with some humidity (Humid, not still wet) Cloth normally come with the label how you can wash, dry and iron. You ignore it, your problem. Dryer have normal and Low temperature mode. Lower temp but longer time will reduce the shrink. |

Good. I live in condo, all my clothes, bed sheets also use dryer. My balcony is very tiny and and the airwell for the condo does not get any sun...so have to use dryer.
Can let it run while you are away ....and don't need to worry if its raining. Damage to clothes is actually very minimal. This post has been edited by Zoopdiidoo: Jan 16 2018, 10:00 AM |

Remove your clothes as soon as it dry with some humidity (Humid, not still wet) Wrinkle is cause by the cloth crumble together when it wet and in the proses of drying. It will form the wrinkle after dry. Cause dry cloth if stiffer than wet cloth. So why you have to take out the cloth after dry. Cause the cloth won't crumble together when it still soft. Cloth trumbling in the dryer won't get wrinkle easily as there is a space for the cloth to move. Unless overload it. My combi will keep on turning with the heater off after finish drying run. So the cloth won't be wrinkle if I don't take it out. I don't have to rush back to home just for take out the cloth. |

QUOTE(warham @ Jan 16 2018, 10:59 AM) I think nowadays every neighbourhood got a self service laundry. If every day waste 30 minutes, just to come & back. That's a lot of time & energy just to go to self service laundry.I send my laundry to dry leave it there for 30mins then i come and pick up my stuff. Doesnt really take too much of a time actually its just how you manage your time. Last time I also think like U. But lastly, it's better that I spend my time sleep or watch movie without any interruption (just to come & pick up laundry). I can do drying at home anytime I want (just b4 night sleep, just b4 work, raining time, flood time, holiday etc). Same like convenience like got washing machine at home.
