it never dries properly...

i still prefer drying by sun..

God forbid don get those combi washing + drying units...

Don't dry properly and if rosak you wouldn't have your washer lol

if load to much it wont dry properly and combi takes more time then a standalone dryer.

2 in 1 is always more unreliable than dedicated unit lol

sigh... nowadays condo, the yard is not facing the sun... which is bloody crappy... the yard is usually blocked by some shitty wall or some units... some even facing the corridor... so it's kinda retarded... drying clothes at the yard is pointless...

end up... still need a dryer... sigh... such is life

Drying load is normally less than washing capacity. So, if you want to straight dry after wash, you cannot wash full load 

People said don't put all eggs in one washing machine..

If u dont mind paying electricity bills.

Onr machine can continue to wash while the other one dry.

Worth to buy if:

- House have limited area to hang clothes to dry
- House have limited exposure to sunlight, so take long time to dry in normal way
- High turn around for clothing (lots of clothing to wash and dry everytime especially baby napkins or big family)

Other than that, can live without. Also got dryer at home but very seldom use.

Best to buy standalone unit (not combi). If got faulty, just dryer is out but not both.

Nope. No change. Maybe even better. Nowadays I’m paying less than 200 linggit but could be due to my absence and cold weather.

Actually last time use the vented dryer just extra must open window put out the hose only but now without needing to go thru all that somehow it feels so much better and easier 😅

You cannot presumed that people who said dryers suck do not own a house. People who praised the dryers maybe the people who live in an apartment with limited place to dry clothes. 

Who said the dryers won't shrink the clothes. Even drying clothes under the sun also will shrink the clothes but the dryers will shrink them more. It is even warned on original Levi's jean. Shrinking is common on cotton clothing (100% especially) and not on synthetic fabrics. Depends on dryer function but many new dryers tend to be on permanent press mode. Therefore, synthetic clothing and even 80% cotton will not wrinkle. So, may need no ironing. It is the same thing drying under the sun, if you know how.

Some have mode call Permanent Press. What is does is actually cooling off the temperature gradually as the dryer approaches end of cycle. This way your clothes will not wrinkle. Same as if you dry under the sun. If you leave it until too dry, it will be wrinkled and hard to straightened up even with ironing. Remove your clothes as soon as it dry with some humidity (Humid, not still wet)

Now i'm not sure whether i need a 8kg dryer or 9kg dryer...

to pair with my 9kg front load washer...

I understand the weight is for when our clothing is dry... so a 9kg washer should theoractically be paired with a 9kg dryer IF it always run full load...

But the 9kg dryer is running nearly $2k more then the 8kg ones

dryer very handy, but very expensive to operate.
