Agree. The easiest method = check the router log time stamp. (make sure NTP is enabled, Time Settings)

If the router reboot itself, check the router log earliest time stamp that changed into actual time when NTP successfully synchronized.

Default time starting point is 2017-01-01 00:00:00 for 1.1.3 Build 20180124 52299 (EU). By checking the time stamp in the log where it synch into actual time, you will know when is the last time the router reboot itself.

Or use the mail function too? Auto mail every 1 hour. Then check the log on time stamp.

Hi guys...
How can I find out If the router C1200 was rebooted when I was not at home?
There is no option how long is router turned on in menu.
Thank you.

For me, i just check the External IP on Phone Ookla speed test, see attached screen capture.
if change = Router rebooted

"You can see the router log, apart from public ip change."
But my public IP address is still the same.

Mine's running FW V1.1.3 Build 20180124 rel.52299 (EU). It's a firmware that was applied via online upgrade in the web UI. I believe it's been on for at least a week. WAN IP remains the same. I've had it on longer than a week. Before I can be watching Netflix or Youtube via TV app while some heavy p2p goes on PC or Media box and suddenly it'll randomly reboot. Sometimes more than once a day. Since flashed this firmware. Not a single occurrence. Lucky.

your setting is very similar to default.
i also try that FW before using similar setting except having more feature turn off. it rebooted during halfway internet banking while no other heavy usage and Unifi TV was off. got piss off and replace with Archer C7. now so far so good. smile.gif

That firmware produced the most uncommanded reboots for me.

I remember you mentioned previously that you rarely monitor the WAN IP, so how do you know for sure it didn't reboot?
Leaving it on for long periods doesn't mean it never auto-rebooted during the night or when your not using the internet.
All, it takes is a couple of minutes to reestablish a connection once it reboots...

Well, after i mentioned such and noticed so many people getting the same problem.. I offered to daily monitor the WAN IP.. Each night as tonight, I check and no change. I don't leave any browser cookies or cache behind as all are cleared with each browser exit .. so it can't be remnants. I've also explained that I could sit watching TV and cuz the router is right there beside the TV, easy to notice if it reboots. Not just me, other house members. I'm a night owl and most days of the week I'm home telecommuting on the PC.. So I'm sure I'd notice if I suddenly lose internet connection in the middle of a conference call. smile.gif

Performance more or less the same as official EU firmware.
Reboot part --> Unsure, as it still haven't reboot since I installed it yesterday...although with a bit wifi channel modification.....

Eh, how many 5ghz channel available for your new toys C3150v2 ? biggrin.gif

channel 36 and auto inclusive. tongue.gif . Having 9 including auto channels in total. So far i am a happy user of this router. Never faced a single issues. Special thanks SilentVampire bro for suggesting me to test this router. Those who wish to buy this router, do upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Because you will face some minor difficulties of getting an error to setup the router successfully.

Can refer my personal review on this router here

[attachmentid=9667832]

I hope they really find out a possible solution for the auto-reboot part. I felt pity to those who have to depend on stock isp router and those who tight budget. I felt surprise that, the router that received many negative reviews, DIR850L performs better than c1200. Awesome hardware, poorly coded firmware.
