Very very disappointed in the result. We should have won and we were SO wasteful of our chances with Morata being the main culprit. At times like this, you'd wish Conte kept Costa instead. I really do hope we get another reliable striker to compete with Morata.

Morata first chance shouldve at least on target. Second chance abit hard as he drift sideways under pressure from the defense. Really need to polish his shooting ability.

Bakayoko still can't do shit inside opponent box. Another fail from him playing in a 3 man midfield.

Defense look abit disorganize. Due to arsenal quick attack perhaps.

Alonso with another goal. That guy really can score.

Look like pools slowly entering the competition for second. Thanks to our slip up today and united's last game week.

Even against Stoke, he missed some clear-cut chances. Not sure if his confidence has taken a hit recently but he really needs to improve as we do rely on him for the goals. Costa would have not have wasted all those chances like that. Even Hazard was pretty baffled by Morata missing all those chances.

i dont really mind Ross Barkley. we just need more depth and he can give Bakayoko or Drinkwater to fight for their place. also we need someone like him to be give us some long range firepower. really lacking with Bakayoko.

personally i think RLC is similar to barkley, we just need to recall him back

what we really need now is new striker to compete/partner with morata

Don't mind Barkley, we need strength and depth with all the upcoming matches.

Now we have Kante, Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Fab and Barkley. I see Kante as sure starter. Then depending if we are playing 343 or 352. If 343, either Kante partner Drinkwater or Kante partner Bakayoko. Fab can't play in 2 man midfield.

Barkley will be a understudy to Fab and competitor to Baka.

If u noticed, Conte is making Bakayoko a box to box CMF when he is deploying 352. A lot of the time Bakayoko is galloping forward, finding very good attacking position, but lack the finishing. It feels like a DMF is trying hard to be a box to box. Barkley offer more attacking threat. Hopefully Conte can turn him into a super box to box player with good finishing.

Side note, we really need a LWB and a CF.

For LWB, I would prefer Bertrand. Proven, homegrown, English. If not then Shaw. Hopefully Shaw stays fit. Pretty sure Alonso will get fatigue soon and everyone will bash how bad is Alonso. lol.

As for CF, I want Bellotti or Griezmann. Bellotti is currently injured. With Costa back to Atletico. I really hope we bid for Griezmann and compete with Barca. Imagine a front 3 of Morata, Griezmann and Hazard.

tbh, i can even see Barkley playing in a front 3 of Morata, Hazard, Barkley. In our 343.

why so cheap? Barkley case.

previously quoted at 50mil Ross Barkley was one of the hottest prospect in English football. Last summer transfer window he was in his last 12 months contract so Everton decided to let him go to Chelsea for 35mil, had his medical but failed or chelsea not satisfied. Fast forward the next this transfer window, Barkley in his final 6 months contract completed his move to Chelsea after recovering from the injury.

for a player that only have 6 months left in his contract Everton should be happy to get 15mil out of him because he can just stay and leave for free next summer.

Arsene has a good stats against Conte. It's a blessing Conte won't be seeing him on the touchline....
