That's a bargain in this market and especially in January. Small risk given he hasn't played since rupturing his ACL but he was 2nd/3rd best LB in Serie A. First is of course Alex Sandro followed by either Ghoulam or Emerson, which ironically Ghoulam also ruptured his ACL.

Dzeko had the season of his life last season but he hasn't reached the same heights this season. Roma's financial situation is not the best, which is why Liverpool managed to sign Salah on a bargain, FFP is a pressure to them every season. They are now in 5th place and fighting with their local rivals Lazio for that 4th CL spot. If they don't get into CL, their financial situation might get worse which is why they might opt to cash in on an aging Dzeko now while his stock is still high.
